Definitely a very fancy hotel, however the building is old, so the rooms are maybe a bit worn, but in fine condition. Huge place full of art and many activities, and we enjoyed our stay here.

A large property that has been maintained for 70 years, hosting large groups. Excellent food service for buffet breakfast and nice dinners in the restaurant. Extensive displays of modern artwork. Rooms are well equipped: Wifi worked fine, sufficient electrical outlets. Note, economy rooms on the 4th floor have skylights but no windows. One drawback, the shower in my room had mold on the walls and ceiling.

When you arrive it’s a wow the reception bar and restaurant are amazing. The room we were in could have done with a bathroom upgrade. The tiles were damaged and the shower wasn’t great. The door to the shower was broken and didn’t close properly. The air con was great but was round the corner from the beds so had to have the fan higher for you to feel it. Bed really comfortable The area isn’t great, we didn’t feel 100% safe. The walk to the metro was a observe your surrounds and walk. There is a supermarket next door which is handy.

My flight was delayed so I checked in at 3am. The room had NO sound insulation. I was woken at 7am with doors slamming and people chatting in the hallway. Was really shattered. The room facilities were super basic in comparison to the facade. Very old air con that blew only cold air. Basic old shower. Really tired looking bed. But it was cheap and clean.

Hotel was just ok. Location was not good. The area was not nice to walk around and you needed a taxi to go to the nice areas. We wish we stayed closer to the Vatican or Colosseum. We just didn’t know the best areas to stay it didn’t have anything to do with cost.

Eine Oase inmitten eines nicht ganz so schönen Viertels, jedoch mit sehr guten Anbindungen (U-Bahn und Bus zum Flughafen). Nach einem Tag in der lebhaften Stadt Rom war es ein Genuss, in den schönen Park zu kommen. Im großen und ganzen war das Personal freundlich; das Zimmer wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer, das gegenüber einer Militäreinrichtung lag. Das störte trotz morgendlichen Appell jedoch keineswegs. Auf jeden Fall ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.
