Room was clean enough and location was ideal. It was quite noisy, particularly as our room was facing on to the elevators. When the aircon was on or the neighbours ran water it was very loud and hard to sleep. It’s aging, for example our sofa was falling apart. We stayed for 2 days and that was enough. The hotel we moved into next was also 4 stars, but a much more upmarket experience for a similar price, whilst being central to Rome.

What I liked and what made the hotel unique Convenient location for exploring Rome – The hotel is situated in the Cinecittà area, providing a quieter alternative to staying directly in the historic centre, while still offering access to Rome’s public transport network. Modern and stylish hotel – The hotel has a contemporary design and a more modern feel than many traditional hotels in Rome, making it particularly appealing after a busy day of sightseeing. Comfortable rooms for a longer stay – For a 5-night stay, the room provided a good base for the holiday, with the comfort and facilities expected from a Mercure property. Good balance between sightseeing and relaxation – Being outside the busiest tourist areas meant returning to the hotel could feel more peaceful after spending the day around attractions such as the Colosseum, Vatican and historic centre. What I didn't like Distance from central Rome – The main drawback was that the hotel isn't located close to Rome's principal tourist attractions. Travelling into the historic centre takes additional time, so this may not be ideal for visitors who want to be within walking distance of the major sights.

The property was very nice, and the staff were very polite. I will say the location with a little further out from the city in main attractions, however, was very close to the train, which could get you to the Colosseum within 30 minutes

Great stay

We had a really pleasant stay in the hotel. We had a one-night stay since we were first traveling around Italy and we came to spend the two last days of our trip to Rome. The location was great for commuting to the city center with the metro, the station was just a few minutes away from the hotel. We had a rental car and the hotel had free parking which was great. Breakfast was good with a lot of options, also healthy ones, even though there were a lot of sweet things served. The room was clean and well-equipped; it was quiet too at least on a 6th floor. Air conditioning was great to have since it was really hot in Rome. The bed was big and comfortable.

This place was okay! The breakfast was good, the room was big, but the main issue I have with this hotel is the bed was lop-sided. I didn't sleep at all while I was here because the mattress was so uncomfortable! My mother loved the place and we were both very pleased with the breakfast. The room was clean, the hotel was in a safe area, the hotel overall was average. I was also able to park my car with no issue, so that was nice. Overall, I'd maybe stay here again but the price of this place was far too high, honestly.
