Most of the staff were nice but they up charged me 6 euros for ice!! I went up to the restaurant and the lady told me it would be 2 euro for ice. The lady at the desk would not hear it. On check-in the lady asked to hold our passports which was odd. Otherwise they were friendly the room was cool just some odd things. Small things that could be changed to enhance the guest experience.

Hotel was very nice and the service was great. Easy walk to the train station and hop off/on bus tours. Area around train station was a little sketchy at night.. but no one bothered us walking back to the hotel

Hotel is dated, but clean and staff is very nice. It has a cozy feel to it because it’s small. Location is fine. Restaurants and supermarket nearby. Unless you are spending all day in your room it’s perfectly nice. No reason to pay more at a higher end hotel. Again, staff was very pleasant.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed by the woman at the front desk and her staff. A truly lovely boutique hotel, which will see us again on our next visit to Roma!

My wife.and I were seeking a hotel close to the train station and I read a number of unsettling Expedia reviews about other hotels in the area.To our delight, none of the complaints I read about for hotels in the area were valid for the Columbia Hotel. The front desk staff especially was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, off the street and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, served at the top floor on a pleasant terrace. We recommend it highly based on our experience

We had a great stay, check in was easy, we arrived early but the room was ready. Room was clean, bed super comfortable, bathroom spotless and towels were nice too. Breakfast was good, enough to start the day. Dunia was always friendly and helpful. Location is good, we walked all over Rome from there. We definitely would stay there again.
