This hotel is close to everything! The bus stations are so close and can get you anywhere. The room was nice, the extras like food and drinks in your room that are replenished daily are a nice perk! But by far the best is the front desk person Annetta!! She was so kind, funny and helpful! I had an issue with a package lost in Italy and she took her time over several days to help me find the package (so far no luck but not for lack of trying!) If you want a unique boutique hotel with excellent staff and location pick Hotel Barrett!!

Be prepared to get some exercise walking up the stairs to the hotel. It's a good experience to prepare you for the thousands of steps you'll take visiting Rome. The location of the hotel is central to every site and buses and trams are within a few minutes walk. The staff at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. If you need advice on where to go or what to see, they will gladly help. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and they recommended where to go to get decently priced clothes and toiletries. Our room was small for three adults but we managed. You eat breakfast in your room and the choices were plenty. The fridge is stocked each day, there's a fabulous coffee maker and plenty of options for breakfast pastries or afternoon Aperitiva. The bathroom is small but clean and the shower was amazing. Just outside the hotel is a fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and great food. We would definitely stay again.

This place was very eclectic. All the concierge were so kind and sweet. Our mini fridge was full of wonderful fresh tomatoes, Barada yogurt, cheese, salami you name it they had it. They also gave us a bottle of champagne. They had croissant a toaster, coffee, cream, milk, cereal, I mean, we could have three meals a day in there. It was cool and the beds were so comfortable we slept like little babies. We went when it was very hot so coming into our room with a wonderful AC was a treat. The restaurant next-door was great. They recommended a little restaurant around the corner S anna where we had dinner. I would highly recommend this place. Their rooms are very small, but adequate and comfortable.

This is my favorite hotel in Europe! They are so nice, the building is super secure, the in room snacks were great, and the location is central enough walk to nearly everything. I will stay here again if I’m ever able to make it back to Rome!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect stay – highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better – just a few minutes’ walk from all the major sights and attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast arrangement served directly in the room was particularly convenient when traveling with children. Everything was clean, and thoughtfully organized. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

It is a unique hotel, tiny and corky, but we enjoyed our short stay here. They do not serve breakfast, but they had a mini bar that was free and absolutely full of everything and anything you could ever think of for breakfast well worth our one night stay here Location was great and in short walking distance to all the restaurants, stores and the usual attractions

This amazing hotel is a true hidden gem with an easy walk to most of Rome's most popular attractions! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is a boutique hotel so if you're used to chain hotels this might not be for you but if you like quirky, unique hotels, dont miss this one.

Quirky, Lovable, Killer Location

This is a quirky hotel in the ideal location for getting anywhere you want to be in Rome. Over the top decor and tight space, but comfortable and friendly. We stay here every time we come to Rome, and wont consider anywhere else. Truly, its not for everyone (3 floor walk up!), but when you love it you love it. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, Hotel Barrett!
