「While there were no lake views, the house had ample room for our needs, basic items needed for a 2 night stay and was clean. There was some floor damage that the agent stated had happened prior to our arrival and was scheduled to be fixed. Listing stated that there were shower items, but there were not. When mentioned, agent delivered promptly. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use a bit more items. Overall, the home met our needs for a 2 night stay.」

「The home needs updating. Beds were okay for a couple of nights. Kitchen was still dirty (coffee pot and stove). No pillows were provided other than the decorative pillows on the beds, which are not typically slept on. Garage was full of leaves, dust and dirt which I swept out so we would not drag dirt inside. I also had to sweep off the sidewalk and porch as it was full of tree limbs and leaves and we didn’t want our elderly mother to trip on and fall. 」

「House needs a lot of work. Need a good paint job and some repairs. Updates to the house seem to be done very cheaply. Neighborhood was quiet. Pictures of the house are very strategically taken to hide problems. It was okay, not luxury as promised. Very few bowls and plates. No spices or coffee available. Very few amenities provided for the kitchen. 」

「The host was friendly and open to helping us throughout the stay. Overall, things were pretty good. It did get quite cold inside, sepecially in the shared spaces. There were plenty of space heaters avaialble to help. Heating was uneven. The rooms could get too hot if the room door was cold, and upstairs gets hotter than downstairs (no zoned heating). We found that several dishes were not fully cleaned and the kettle neede cleaning and descaling. We also noticed some windows were left unlocked....

「There was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, but it would have been nice to have the option to turn it on earlier. Very comfortable house!」
