"I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and the host. My husband and I have traveled a fair amount all over the US. We have stayed at some really cool, unique places. This by far takes the cake as our favorite. The historic property has been lovingly restored by the host and filled with gorgeous antiques. It's like stepping back in time or staying at a museum. The place is absolutely enchanting! We liked it so much that we added another day to our stay. Don't worry there's modern amenities like wifi and TVs. However, we didn't feel the need to use them. The host is very nice and knowledgeable of the history of the home and items in it. He was quick to respond and kind enough to accommodate the additional night on short notice. We fell in love with this home and the town of Hannibal. We are definitely coming back as often as we are able. Highly recommend! "
