This is not the place

I recived a text asking me to call about a week before my visit. I spoke to a women (and a man in the back was tell her kinda what to say), she said this location is under renovations (weird because it was still listed) but that they have another location available. I said okay just send me the information. We got to the place and I noticed it was in a neighborhood that was pretty ran down. Houses with boards on windows (including this property) ect... I figured okay, just needed a place to stay but should definitely see the difference in price and have the difference refunded to me. I reached out to the phone number that was sending me this new place and the person said they will not be refunding me the estimated 96 difference. Lots of reasons why they felt entitled to have the difference but absolutely no reason to charge the amount they did for the ran down place provided. In the middle of the night you could hear rats in the walls, I found makeup pads just randomly on the floor, open food left in the cabinet, and it kinda just went from there. This absolutely has to be a scam and I will be taking it up with Verbo. Lesson learned, do not except a phone confirmation for renting these. I asked for it to be through the app and they would not do it. I am beyond furious!
