"This was a great find. Great value for money and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area. Bathroom was a nice size and also spotlessly clean. "Basic hotel with everything you need in very good condition"

"We didn't have the best starts to our trip. On checking in, which ran smoothly, we were informed that there was a staffing strike and that some services would not be available during our stay. One of the reasons we'd selected this hotel was its pool, which sadly was one of the impacted areas. Some of the bars and restaurants were also impacted. On reaching our room it did not offer the fjord views we'd booked and paid a premium for. Rather than head straight to reception to check what had happened we headed to the restaurant. For various reasons we elected not to stay and headed to reception to sort our room out. They didn't admit that we were in the wrong room but did upgrade and move us, which was the best thing that had happened since we arrived. I want to stress the staff on reception were exceptional. Still hungry and thirsty we needed to their Chicago Pizza bar, where we had two fantastic pizzas and some drinks in a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu was limited and there were no sides available but the quality of what we had was fantastic. And all of that happened within 2 hours of our arrival. The 2nd day saw the full strike kick in, more food/beverage services were impacted. It felt like we had booked a B&B. So overall this is a really hard one to grade. I am sure that we would be giving it 5 stars, if everything had been running to plan and there hadn't been a strike but sadly there was. Maybe a discount is due to encourage a revisit."

"Excellent value for money hotel. The room itself is nothing overly special, but the whirl pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, plus the breakfast made this a fantastic stay. To clarify, nothing wrong with the room at all, it was clean, good quality toiletries, large TV with casting etc, but it was a compact room. Staff were very friendly and helpful (especially considering how busy it was with a football cup final and race in the city). Highly recommend."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Naveena made sure our room was perfect before our arrival and the staff were extremely helpful. We added breakfast for our last day and it was absolutely worth it and delicious. The location made seeing the city very easy with many places to visit nearby or transportation stops. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return again on our next trip to Oslo. The location is truly excellent — within walking distance of major tourist attractions, as well as countless restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars, and shops. Public transportation access was also incredibly convenient, with easy connections to train stations and the airport, which made traveling around the city stress-free. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and located on the first floor, which we appreciated after a long international trip. The room included all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel was the breakfast buffet. It was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced, with a wonderful variety and excellent quality selections. Another thoughtful touch was the sitting area next to the lobby where guests could freely access still water, sparkling water, tea, and coffee throughout the day. This was such a great convenience — no need to deal with boiling water in the room or being limited to instant coffee. Every member of the staff was friendly, respectful, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of service and hospitality we experienced here was honestly better than some 5-star hotels we have stayed at in the past. We especially want to thank the gentleman at the reception, KjenarAhmad. After a very long and exhausting journey, he graciously allowed us to check into our room s"
