  • Enjoy a relaxing family getaway at this cozy mountain cabin with a short walk to the river. It's an easy drive to caverns, the zoo, farmer's markets, wineries, state and national parks, and historic Luray and Front Royal. Enjoy hanging out in the game room playing darts, pool, foosball, surfing the internet, or watching TV. Fire up the grill, and at night relax by the firepit and roast some marshmallows in the peace and quiet of the mountains. Wake up and have a fresh cup of coffee in the charm of our kitchen that contains the original cabin logs from the 1800s. Or sit outside on the deck and you might just see the deer wander nearby. Whatever you do, you'll be sure to make memories for years to come! Veteran owned and operated!

Good location! Great stay for a family with kids - my kiddos loved the bunk beds and all the available toys. Host was very responsive to help ensure our trip was a smooth one.

A very cute and comfy property. Everything was as described. There was an initial issue with the AC so we did not have it the first night but the owner made it right as soon as humanly possible. The rest of the stay was great.

It felt like we were in a treehouse with a solid foundation. We enjoyed the many ferns in back of the house and it felt like we were in the treetops! Our stay was very peaceful.

The Green River Cabin was a convenient location to where our family wanted to visit and take in the sites and hikes off of Skyline Drive. Grocery pickup at Walmart was only about 15 mins away and the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive was a 20-25 minute drive. The rental listing was accurate and the house had everything we needed for our trip. Our kids enjoyed the games and extra toys in the guest bedroom to play with. Host was very prompt with communication and checking in as needed on our stay.

Kids loved it; it was so helpful to have an extra cot in the bunk bed room so they could all stay in there together. The interior decor was lovely. Location was great- central to all our activities.

Great property and communicative hosts. The firepit was nice for cooking dinner a couple nights. The master bed was very comfortable and the foosball table was a fun family activity. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Very nice property

This is a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a short drive to lots of activities but far enough away from town to be quiet. Great place for a family. The host was quick to respond and was very pleasant.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Green River Home. Great cozy getaway cabin, driving distance or brief hike away from the river. Very quiet and tucked into a forested ridge with a nice small campfire spot. Everything was as listed and there was a detailed booklet telling everything about the cabin and local area.

Relaxed and happy

We enjoyed everything in our stay. The communication with our hosts was great. They gave good directions and tips to enjoy the area. We had access to a river, the lake was not too far and the hiking trails are beautiful
