We rent an apartment for 4 persons in our beautiful renovated asturian country house with a great balcony, garden and private parking. Casa Toriellu is located in a coastal reserve area, 5 km from the little fishing village of Ribadesella. It offers to families and nature lovers an exceptional experience of peace and tranquility in a rural local yet near magnificant beaches and cliffs. It is also an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of Asturias, mountains like the Picos of Europa, his lovelies vallages, the world heritage monuments, museums and last but not least the excellent asturian kitchen, a gastronomic delight.
The self catering apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living dining area, bathroom and a great balcony.

Ribadesella suburb

This apartment was just right for the two of us (though there is room for more). We loved the covered patio overlooking the neighborhood and hills where we could sit and enjoy our meals. The bed was very comfortable and the host Sibille was so friendly and very accommodating. She has supplied the place with everything you need and more. There’s also an awesome friendly dog who will go on walks with you.

Mit der Ferienwohnung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Für uns war die gewisse Abgeschiedenheit kein Problem, zumal wir für die Ausflüge in Asturien eine ideale Ausgangsbasis hatten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, alles hat bestens geklappt. Schon im Vorfeld waren wir sehr dankbar, vom Gastgeber Infos zu erhalten, die über die Agentur nicht kamen. Natur und Stille pur

Erholsamer Urlaub in naturnaher und ruhiger Umgebung

Das Objekt hat alles was man braucht. 4 km zum Meer (in Ribadasella). Picos auch nicht zu weit. Sehr freundliche deutsche Vermieterin im selben Haus. Einzige Schwierigkeit : Das Haus ist nicht leicht zu finden. Das Navi hat Probleme. Wir haben eine tolle Woche verbracht!

Sauber, seriös, freundlich und ruhig

Wir fanden das Apartment sehr sauber und ganz hervorragend ausgestattet vor. Große und kleine Handtücher sind vorhanden, Bettwäsche ebenfalls, beides ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die ländliche Umgebung hat ihren ganz eigenen Charme, sehr ruhig und ideal als Basis für tägliche Ausflüge an die umliegenden Strände und Örtlichkeiten. Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter Sibille und Rainer könnte nicht größer und zuverlässiger sein. Ohne Vorbehalt empfohlen!

Well equipped first floor flat with friendly, helpful hosts. Car needed!

Very well-appointed kitchen with thoughtful touches such as olive oil provided for those who intend to cook, and a fresh lemon in the fruit bowl. Dharp knives and sufficient cooking utensils. Twin and double bedrooms are not very big, but adequate and comfortable enough. Balcony for good weather. Shower is hot and towels plentiful. It would be rather a squash for four guests, especially on the balcony, but it was perfect for three. Only potential downside is that it's a rather out-of-the-way village (you'd have to go into Ridabesella to eat or drink out as there's nowhere within walking distance) but that's a given as the self-catering is very easy.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung rundum wohl gefühlt. Sie hatte für uns zwei die optimale Größe. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Die Einrichtung ist individuell und gemütlich. Die neuen Matratzen im großen Zimmer sind auch für rückengeplagte Zeitgenossen optimal. Wir haben dank der guten Fenster trotz der Hähne in der Umgebung gut geschlafen. Die Umgebung des Hauses ist ländlich, dörflich und wunderschön. Vom großen Balkon schaut man direkt auf die Berge der Picos. Auch die weitere Umgebung, Berge und Strände sind absolut traumhaft. Die Landschaft in Asturien ist eine wirklich einzigartige Symphonie. Im hübschen Ribadesella kann man abends flankieren und lecker essen.Der letzte Abend führte uns durch Zufall in das Restaurant Arbidel. Dann bemerkten wir, dass wir in einem Sternerestaurant gelandet waren. Das Essen war natürlich nicht billig, aber genial. Frau Hoppe ist eine angenehme Vermieterin, nicht aufdringlich, stand uns bei Bedarf mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir werden diese wunserbare Woche nicht so schnell vergessen und bestimmt noch einmal zurückkommen.

Toller Urlaub in Asturien

Wir verbrachten knapp zwei Wochen in dieser autentischen Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist einfach, aber gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Zu viert, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenager, kamen wir dort gut zurecht. Die Vermieter, Sibille und Rainer, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei einem Ticket fürs Falschparken in Gijon haben wir, wie bei vielen Gelegenheiten, davon provitiert. Die Gegend ist unglaublich schön und sehr idyllisch. Es gibt super Strände zum Surfen (Playa del Vega) oder einfach zum Genießen (Playa Cuevas del Mar) und auch die Picos sind unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiter. Vielen Dank für tolle Tage.

Tolles Appartment in der Nähe von Ribadesella bzw. der Asturischen Steilküste

Unseren Aufenthalt kann man am Besten mit "alles bestens" kurz umschreiben, aber da wir vom Feedback bzgl. Raumgröße, etc etwas verunsichert waren, hier noch ein paar mehr Details: Wir sind zu 4 Personen, alle größer 180 cm, in den Urlaub gefahren...Platz hat locker ausgereicht. Alles ist vorhanden: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Kochsachen, etc. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich mir ein extra Kisen mitnehmen...ist aber Typsache. Einkaufen kann man in Ribadesella...oder man geht Essen: ca. 1 km....hervorragendes Fischlokal. Auto ist von Nöten, denn man muß schon immer zu Strand, Einkauf, Picos,etc fahren. Wetter ist etwa wie in Deutschland...hin und wieder regnet es, dafür ist es nicht zu heiß und sehr grün.

MAY Half-term break

It was fine for me, my son and my nephew. The house was easy enough to find, just off the local road into Ribadesella from the east and not far from the nearest autovia exit, though the approach roads are very narrow. The apartment itself is upstairs in the owner's property and is ideal for a couple and two others. The bedrooms are a little small but the beds are comfortable enough and the living room is big enough to relax in. There is a small kitchen area and a dining table, as well as a microwave. The balcony outside has nice views across the valley to the mountain to the south and it was very pleasant sitting outside in the morning and evenings. There was no wi-fi advertised in the spec, but it is there, though it was a little weak at times, so more than two users might affect it. The owner is very friendly, as are her dogs and cats, who will come and greet you when you arrive. The weather was very wet at first, but we had some nice days later, which made the trip up to the mountains wonderful, with clear skies and lovely walks. It's very close to Ribadesella, which is a beautifully-set coastal town with long, clean beaches and a pretty harbour. There are some interesting sites nearby, such as the dinosaur footprints at Playa de la Griega and the Jurassic Museum of Asturias, ideal for pre-teens, though the two fourteen-year-olds enjoyed their visit. In Ribadesella itself, there is a prehistoric cave and a museum, but you need to book visits to the cave in advance, so we didn't get a chance to visit. The house is ideally placed to visit the local area, especially the local Fito mountain range and the Picos de Europa national park with the cable car at Fuente De. The Sanctuary at Covadonga is well worth a visit as well just to see the setting and Oviedo is a lovely city about an hour's drive away, with a lovely park and a beautiful cathedral and medieval buildings. There is a very strong Celtic identity in the area and the locals make great play of it with their crafts and souvenirs. The only thing to think about is the weather, as this part of Spain can get as much rain as Britain, but it also mans that the area is beautifully green. I can't wait to go back and explore further.

Excellent accommodation in stunning scenery

The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. We received a very warm welcome. The cliff-top walks were easy to reach and magnificent. We struggled to find the cottage but that's all part of the adventure - we had to ask the local people who did their very best (despite the language barrier) and eventually a lady stopped a passing car and told the driver to lead us to the cottage. A lovely start to a lovely holiday.

Einfaches, sauberes Appartment

Das Appartment ist sauber und einfach eingerichtet. Für 4 Personen wird es meiner Ansicht nach etwas eng, für 2 - 3 Personen ist es in Ordnung. Die Matrazen im größeren Zimmer sind schon durchgelegen (Sprungfedern spürbar). Das Appartment ist trotz schönem Balkon dunkel/schattig. Die Vermieter sind hilfsbereit, auch bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Strategisch ist das Appartment gut gelegen, von Klippenwanderungen über Badestrände bis zu den Picos ist alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, sogar nach Bilbao kann man in einem Tag hin + zurück fahren. Die Casa Toriellu liegt äußerst ländlich, weshalb Frühaufsteher keinen Wecker benötigen, da der Nachbarhahn dauerhaft zur Stelle ist. Die direkt angrenzende Bahnlinie ist nur tagsüber befahren und hat uns nicht gestört.

Erholsame Ferien

Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die freundlichen Vermieter helfen bei Problemen, bei uns war es eine Autopanne, sehr intensiv. Die Unterkunft hatte Alles was wir brauchten und war sehr sauber. Allerdings sollte man sich vorher etwas über Asturien informieren, es unterscheidet sich klimatisch doch sehr vom restlichen Spanien. Uns hat das aber gefallen, das man Strandleben und Bergsteigen so gut verbinden kann.

Ruhig gelegene FeWo m.4 Schlafpl.; für 2 Personen ging es sehr gut. Für 4 evt etwas eng. Sauber. Sehr nette (deutsche) Gastgeber. Schon vorher guter email Kontakt. Nächste Einkaufmöglichk. ca. 6 Km entfernt. Leider ist keine Keipe im Ort selbst. Allerdings ein etwas nobleres Restaurant am Ortseingang; wir haben es nicht besucht. Gute Wandermöglichkeiten von der Haustür ab (Jakobsweg "Camino del Norte" geht durch den Ort) Man ist mit dem Auto schnell an vielen wunderschönen Stellen: Strände, Steilküste, Städtchen (Ribadesella, Llanes, Nueva, Cangas de Onís,...), Berge (Monfrechù u.a.), Hochgebirge (Picos de Europa: Covadonga, Lagos Ercina und Erol, Bulnes,...)
