Dotted around this village are many old stone houses and a traditional church and it retains the atmosphere and lifestyle. If you want a morning stroll by the Episkopi Beach you will only be 5 minutes' drive away. It is known to be one of the beaches in Crete with soft sand and calm waters. The town of Rethymnon is around 25 minutes' drive away with its traditional and beautiful historic old town, Venetian Harbour and superb Blue Flag beaches.
