"We have just arrived home after a two week holiday at Belvedere it was our second stay there and it was still incredible on all points. The staff everywhere were very attentive to our every need. A special thank you to the cocktail bar staff who made our evenings (admaq Omar Mohamed Ali ) they were always smiling and happy to see us and worked really hard delivering great cocktails to everyone. Our housekeeper (Mahmoud) was fantastic, he went above and beyond to make our stay a happy and pleasurable one thank you Mahmoud. The food in the Buffet was fantastic. Tasty hot dishes, BBQ everyday outside. Beautiful fresh salads, breads, fruits and deserts we could not fault anything. The pool side and walk way between the beach was hosed down early every morning and they kept the area clean all day. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate. Great pools one heated. We would definitely come again in the future. Thank you for a fabulous stay"

"The resort was beautiful and well kept with lovely landscaping and modern buildings. The food was delicious in the main restaurant, so much do that we didn’t bother eating anywhere else. There was plenty of variety and they made it a point to change things up every night so it stayed interesting and appealing. The pools and amenities were wonderful and the start was excellent. Reception: Where Christmas Decorations Go to Die You walk in and are immediately greeted by a Santa with demon eyes, surrounded by “festive décor” that looks like it was rescued from a skip. A ripped pillow stuffed with grey fluff pretending to be snow? Honestly, I’ve seen more convincing holiday spirit in a morgue. Then comes the reception staff: a miserable man who slags off guests in Arabic, confidently assuming no white person understands him. Bad luck mate — we understood every word. Rooms: Biohazard Zones The rooms should come with a health warning. • Urine-stained bed linen — repeatedly. • Floors that look like they’ve never met a broom. • A bathtub decorated with cigarette ends and burn marks, as if someone had hosted a bonfire in it. • A sewage smell from the bathroom strong enough to qualify as a chemical attack.
