HYATT house Charlotte/Center City
4/10 Poor
"If you don't get the parking pass you have to pay for valet parking at $55 a day, plus valet tips everytime you take your car out. There's a sign to validate your parking but they only validate if you get the parking package and prepay."
"The website said breakfast and the pool would be open but when we got to the property that’s when we found out there is no breakfast and the pool doesn’t he a permit yet. The carpet in the hallways is very filthy and dirty. The lobby smells really good but the floors smell really bad. I will never go to the hotel again!! The room had hair on the cover and the balcony door was hard to open!"
"The Hilton Charlotte University Place was about as good as it gets when you're not at home. The only thing I missed was a place to pick up some munchies late at night. But that was probably good, because I definitely ate too much at the great breakfast in the morning."
"The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and got me checked in quickly. Breakfast hours were perfect and there was a nice selection of food to choose from. There was plenty of parking available."

8/10 Good
"Check in was very easy, the gentleman was very nice. He explained about the breakfast buffet but that was all. I had to ask the next morning when to expect house keeping (since Covid every hotel is different!) and ask about the password for the free wi-fi. The room and main areas were clean but the hotel is showing age. The bed was ok but the chair and sofa were uncomfortable. In the description of the hotel when checking them out said the breakfast buffet was "best in the area". I beg to differ on that, it was all right but not the best."
"Rooms are dated but relatively clean. Didn't know that the double room has full beds, not queens. Excellent breakfast and morning staff was very kind. Evening staff was rude."
