「Tidy and clean Japanese Pensioner. Tatami mats and futons were paired with good bedding. Our room had a sink and toilet but we used a communal shower that was clean and well stocked. From the description of the room, it was unclear if there was a shower but it was no problem.」

「We stayed for 2 nights to climb Rishiri dake. It is more like a hotel than a pension. Staff is casual and polite correspondence. Dinner was delicious both for dinner and breakfast. The washing machine was available for free.」

"Busy hotel so plan meals in advance. If you want to eat at the 12th floor, which is the top floor, teppanyaki restaurant you need to make reservations three days in advance. Breakfast was good but very busy and crowded during 7:00am-8:00am. During our stay the bar on the 12th floor was booked for private events so didn’t check it out but probably had a good view of the ocean."
