閑静な場所にあり、静かに過ごしたい人には良い場所だと思います。 ただ、買い物をするには10分ぐらい歩かないと買い物をする場所は無いのですが レディング駅からホテルまでの道のりで買い物する場所や食べる場所が多くありますので 帰り道にそれらを済ませれば不便に感じる事はありません。

駅からショッピングモールのオラクルの東側の道を南に行けば徒歩３０分でホテルに到着。近くにテスコエキスプレスがある。ゴミ箱に前客のゴミが残っていた。トイレットペーパーの残りが少ないのに予備が置いていないので、受付に貰いに行った。２泊目にバスタオルが濡れていたが、使用済みが交換されなかったのか、乾燥不十分なバスタオルだったのか？？　シャワーやトイレは少し狭い。シャワーは電熱式の様で、湯量が少ないので洗うのに時間がかかる。食器などが色々あるが、食器用の洗剤はない。冷蔵庫が大きいので色々入る。テレビのチャンネルは非常に多いが、JSTVを含めてイギリス以外のチャンネルはない。部屋の壁紙があちこち剥がれており、歴史を感じる。

大変快適なホテル
外観は英国的ですが、内部は大変快適なホテル仕様になっていて、十分満足しました。また、部屋に電子レンジがついていたのも重宝しました。

Reasonable hotel
The room is well equipped, staff is supportive. The building is old, but inside is fairly clean. Internet access is OK, but sometimes doesn't connect. Considering to the price and good access to the University of Reading, I recommend this hotel especially for the customers who come to Reading by car and visitors for University of Reading.

Lovely hotel and very clean and comfortable. Lovely size rooms and all needed was avaliable such as kettle etc staff are amazing and always around if needed.

This was pretty much a perfect overnight stay. The property was very easy to locate with plenty of parking and I was able to park very close to where I was staying. Staff was very polite and courteous when booking me in and showing me to my room. I have never walked in a hotel room to be greeted with such a clean and fresh smell and when I went out to get something to eat later that evening, when I returned the smell was as good as the first time. The room décor was smart and had everything I needed including a lovely compact kitchen with a fridge for my drinks. It was really nice and quiet and afforded a great night's sleep on a very comfy bed. Breakfast was served promptly to allow me to get on with my day and was really tasty. I would love to stay here again in the future.

This is a value for money spot as you have a microwave and refrigerator so can be quite independent. Parking is great and the accommodation was clean and spacious. Ideal

The hotel was good for the price, and the staff was very nice and helpful. The area around the hotel does look a little sketchy, but we never had any actual problems. The hallways did smell of weed/cigarettes, but once inside the room you couldn't smell anything. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Good
Only issue was the shower/bathroom. Couldnt open the window in the bathroom, had to put a bowl in window to keep it open. And shower head wasnt very good and took for ever to get hot water. But other then that the hotel was good. The bed was very comfy and slept very well. I would stay again.

The Sure, is an older property kept in good order and should be full every-night. It's humble, old school, charges a fair price for a comfortable stay. The water is hot, the bed is clean, the room was quiet, had a microwave, kettle and small fridge and a tv. Everything you need. Stay here.

Disappointing
Great service in sorting out a disabled parking space and ground floor room, but the room was badly laid out, with the only switch for the bedside light being by the single bed, not the double, meaning you had to get out of bed to turn off the lights and you couldn't read in bed. Also, though a desk was provided for work, there was no light by or near the desk and the overhead light was dim.

Lovely stay
I stay her every time I come to Reading, warm and friendly reception. The rooms are clean and warm with good facilities. The Oracle shopping centre is only a 15-20 minute walk away, but there are also plenty of local shops just around the corner

Location was convenient for me, but there's not much around. The room was rather small, bed was OK, the shower very old, but mostly, the windows didn't open in this room, so no way to ventilate the room. Breakfast was a bit hectic the day I went.

Run down in need of a refurb.
Run down rooms in need of a good clean and refresh. Very small room with tiny bathroom. The bed looked like the corners had been chewed by a dog! Breakfast was OK and the staff were pleasant but for the price I paid for a nights stay I would expect a much better standard of accomodation.
