There is a wonderful cafe on the property operated by a very friendly woman offering a variety of tea drinks. It was definitely a local hang out. "It is a nice property with outstanding views of the port. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and ample for Japan standards. The staff is courteous and the pristine shared kitchen works well. In case you aren’t driving, note that it isn’t quite walking distance from downtown. Btw the GPS took me to a wrong address, by the port; actually the hotel is at the top of the hill. I totally recommend it. "

"初めての一軒家民泊スタイル宿泊でした。 最初チェックイン方法もわからないし、外観見てちょっとドキドキしましたが、思ってた以上にストローベイルハウスで快適に連泊させていただきました。 あいにくの悪天候で予定行動は出来ない中、アウトドア感覚を室内にて十分満喫できました。水回り関係が室内には一切無く、一旦外に出てといったところは不便でしたが、室内が自分達だけのキャンプ場のような感覚で楽しめました。 また旅行の際には利用したいなと思ってます。"
