We stayed at Village Walk (not the location pictured). The lake view is amazing. We enjoyed a walk in the snow down the main street and did some shopping. Great place .

My friends and I really enjoyed the stay here. It had plenty of room for all of us and had a great outdoor area with a fire pit that we could hang out at. Proximity to groceries, restaurants and the lake really makes this place a 10/10.

We had a great time at Picks camp. Very beautiful spot on Quimby pond. Early morning coffee sitting on the dock, listening to the loons was just what we needed from our busy lives back home. The camp has everything you need and was very peaceful and private. Thanks again!!

Great trip. The review of Hiking options did not include hikes that were ok for kids. This was a big problem for us.

We had a perfect week of relaxation here..... We love the Rangeley area and have spent a week each in summer and winter seasons for over twenty years - and we enjoy trying out different houses and different lakes/ponds. This is our first time in this house and at Quimby Pond and our experience couldn't have been better! The property managers at Morton & Furbish are top notch and sent us visitor information, facts about the property, check-in instructions, etc in the weeks leading up to our stay, and they answered our questions extremely promptly every time. The pond is about the size of Haley Pond in the town of Rangeley and relatively shallow - the water was refreshing but warm enough for comfortable swimming. Because of its size, it's not a body of water for exploration, but perfect for swimming and casual paddling with occasional loons popping up here and there. It's a quiet pond; sparsely populated - the neighbors are nearby, but you wouldn't know it since the landscaping leading down to the water is open but lush on the edges and camouflages the adjacent properties. The house is new construction but with dark wood finishes to give the feel of an old Maine camp. The entire house is super clean with uniform white bed sheets, waffle-weave cotton blanket/coverlets, and fluffy towels - just like a really nice hotel! And the magical thing about this house is that it's not that big, but packs 8 bedrooms (I thought it was a typo!) and sleeps 12+ people. There are two living rooms with flat panel tv's so easy for adults and kids to split up to watch different things on the two floors. The only downside might be that if you do choose to have a lot of people stay with you, there's not much space for kitchen and dining. If you have good weather, you can easily spread out to eat outside though. The kitchen compensates by housing two refrigerators. Our original plan was to share this house with two other families, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was just my husband and I and our two teenage daughters staying here. I can see sharing the space with one or two other similarly numbered families who don't mind being cozy! Overall - a wonderful experience and would certainly stay here again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!!
