"We really enjoyed our stay at The Yarrow hotel. The building is impressive, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food very good. We had a standard double room, which was adequate with everything you needed in it. The only downside was that the bed was a really small double , so we didn’t sleep that well. Other than that, we would recommend the hotel. It has easy access to the town and sea front - 5 to 10 minute walk. We would stay there again, but would choose a room with a bigger bed."

"Lovely location - sea views from both bedrooms and lounge. I misread the instructions about how to enter the car park and they were so helpful - even being ready to send someone out when our call dropped. I would definitely recommend."

"We enjoyed our stay the beds are comfy, rooms clean, staff were great, the area was great for our purpose and the food in the restaurant freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Plenty of parking available and the manager kept on top of everything. Well run establishment. My only issue was that I had an accessible room and the window let traffic noise in which disturbed me at night and there is no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries etc"

"We only saw one member of staff who was friendly and cooked a lovely English breakfast and that was what stopped me from writing a terrible r review… The condition of the B&B is really poor, rotten window frame that didn’t close, uncomfortable bed, extension leads hanging from a tv that only had 1 channel…I won’t comment what was in the shower tray but I didn’t use it…"

"The room was a nice size but needs improvement one of the lampshades was missing from the bedside lamp so was just a light bulb I did report to reception but was not repaired one of the windows had duck tape holding the glass in place these are things that could be easily fixed The hotel it’s self is very clean and the staff are friendly there is a bar that had live entertainment on the Friday night The room we had has a nice view of the sea and had tea and coffee facilities and bottled water daily "

"Beautiful property in an excellent location with lovely seaside views. House is very grand and tastefully decorated with nice attention to detail with local history books etc. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was very serviceable, although would be handy to have a few more essentials provided i.e. cooking oil, but supermarkets are not far away."
