Wonderful place for friends and family.

Radford University Family Weekend

Had a great stay for family weekend in Radford. The property was very well maintained & clean. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms were equipped with plenty of linens & toiletries. Would definitely stay again!

Deer Heaven!

Our weekend was wonderful! We were in the area for Radford Parent Weekend. The property was perfect for family time. We were still very close to campus but really enjoyed the seclusion and serenity of the house.

Fantastic Cabin

Our stay at the cabin was excellent. We needed a place for a bachelor party weekend for some early 30s guys and this was the perfect spot. The amenities and location of this cabin were perfect. There were loads of niceties that elevate this VRBO option to top tier. If visiting Radford in the future, I would absolutely stay here again, no questions asked.

Where peace and nature converge

We were here for a family Memorial Service. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted with lovely rolling hills, deer roaming freely and a cozy, well-stocked retreat where we could relive family memories with love ones. A must stay if you are visiting this area of Southwest VA.

VA Tech Homecoming Reunion Weekend

What a fun cabin in the woods! We loved everything about this unique home. The property was amazing and close to all the things we did over the weekend. Close to VA Tech, golf, hiking, and our dog Leo loved it too!

Same time next year

Great unique house, very private. Well stocked kitchen and lots of fun amenities in the house - pool table, game table, fire pit, porches and a great family room with a large TV. This was our second year in a row at this house and we plan on coming back next year!

VT move in

We moved my youngest into VT. We loved the property, very peaceful! Played pool, enjoyed all the deer, and sitting around the fire pit! Thank you for allowing us to use your family cabin :). We also enjoyed the photo album of when the cabin was built!

We had the best time. The location is beautiful, the property was well taken care of, the home had everything we needed. The kids in the family were in love with the cozy loft and all the games to play. This listing really was a fantastic find, and communication was amazing. Wonderful

What a place! Very remote and private setting yet super convenient to town. The property is beautiful and the house is super functional; the living room/kitchen area is designed perfectly to enjoy time with family and friends. Our gracious host answered our one question quickly and provided all the essentials plus a couple treats for our stay.

Awesome weekend getaway for small golf group

We had 8 friends come stay at the property for a weekend reunion and a round of golf at the River Course. The majority of us graduated from Radford with a VT & JMU grad as well. Perfect cabin in the peaceful woods with all the amenities indoors you would need. Would definitely stay again. The campus sure has changed, but we loved our time here.

Perfect weekend

The property has every accommodation that you could think of. The house was an absolute blast with all the games and activities it provided. We felt like we were in the middle of no where with our closest friends. This was the best trip I’ve had so far and will be coming back with my wife and our friends!

Beautiful and private

Host was very easy to communicate with. Responded quickly to any messages. Very friendly. The place was beautiful. The pool table kept adults and kids entertained for hours. Outside was just breathtaking. Tons of space for kids to run. Very relaxing getaway.

Oasis in the woods

What a fun place to stay! We loved the privacy of the property, yet it is right next to town and conveniences. The deer and wildlife were fun to watch. We used the pool table downstairs and grilled out on the back porch. After dusk, we often switched to sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows for s'mores. The owners were great at communication and extremely helpful. Will stay again when we have a larger group!

Boilermaker Getaway

We came to the area for the Purdue-Virginia Tech Football game. The Cabin had a convenient but remote location just up the hill from downtown Radford and 20 minute from the VT campus. It was spotless, unique and loaded with everything you need for your getaway. Deb was very communicative and accommodating. We would definitely return when in the area.

Nerd-Fest 2023

Our extended family has been gathering annually for the better part of 20 years, and the group that gathered this time out agreed that this was one of the best locations that we have ever selected. AMAZING property

This cabin is tucked down a 1-mile private drive and surrounded by 200 acres of nature. You feel completely secluded but are near downtown Radford and just a short drive from Blacksburg. We had a little trouble with the a/c at check-in and the hosts responded right away. They even came back with a new filter at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night! The house is well-stocked and comfortable for multiple families. Our adult children enjoyed the game room. Would highly recommend this property!
