"The hotel is in a pleasant, predominantly 'locals' neighborhood with good eating options and markets. Walking distance to the end of the BKK airport skyway train line making it easy and inexpensive for a Bangkok layover. Quiet, safe and comfortable. "
"From the airport, train then BTS metro on station away then 3 min walk. 15mins walk to MBK building. Customer service was good except this one incident where they made me wait 20mins for a fresh towel. the 12 bed dorm had new comfy mattress and a curtain for privacy. The bathrooms are always clean. WiFi was good. free breakfast was a disappointment. kitchen and lounge space was good. 2 new computers free to use."

VIE Hotel Bangkok - MGallery
10/10 Excellent
"The staff and room services are excellent, the room is nice, overall is it a 5 star rating hotel, will definitely come back again next year"
"Amazing stay! Ended our Thailand trip with a stay at Centara Grand as recommended by my friend. Originally was supposed to end our trip at another hotel but decided to change hotels after having an ok experience at the other hotel. So glad we made that decision! after reading many reviews, I anticipated getting checked in at 3pm or later (which was fine because we had plans anyways).. but there was actually a room available when we arrived at 1230p. We were able to check in quickly. The room was big (compared to other hotels in Bangkok). Bed was very comfortable as well and bathroom was big! We actually ended up booking an extra night since our flight was not until late that evening and late check out would cost more than booking another night. They did however offer complimentary late check out at 1400. 10 min walk to Siam Paragon and connected to CentralWorld. So close to amazing food and shopping. Definitely will stay again when we come back."
"This hotel is older. I first stayed there in 2002 and chose to return as it is familiar, near to BST station and with lots of nearby convenience shops. The room was large and clean, the beds comfy and good aircon. There was a mix up with booking for breakfast being only for one person yet the room for 2 persons but this was rectified. It feels safe here and the staff although busy are friendly."
Admire the house and art collection of an American expat who became one of Thailand’s most renowned “farangs” before he mysteriously disappeared in the 1960s.
