「It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you. 」

「We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend...

「We had a wonderful time staying here on Parksville! Close to Rathtrevor beach, pool, hot tub, and miniature golf. The property was very clean and well stocked. Our host Judy was quick to respond and checked in to make sure we were having a good trip. Thanks Judy! Highly recommend! 」

「My husband and I stayed at The Cabin for a week June 26th - July 3rd, 2025. We were thrilled to find this perfect retreat in the countryside outside of Port Alberni and the proximity was perfect for us. Even though we didn’t use the amenities at all, we think they are all perfect for a family or group to use. Surrounded by lush foliage it’s a cozy place to enjoy the outdoors. We also did the farm tour which was offered as an activity. It’s so amazing to see how hard this family has worked in...
