Aldea was an excellent choice to stsy near everything! Rinconada where there are many restaurants and ice cream parlors. You must rent a car with v Travelocity only $61 to see all the beautiful beaches etc.

Love the pool just across the restaurant and they even have a shower to get rid of the sand before getting in the pool. Or just to shower after swimming . They also let you use the facilities after checking out. I love the staff being helpful all times.

Beautiful hotel! Secluded and private! The pictures do not do it justice. The restaurant/bar staff were very kind and attentive but the reception was horrible. Very rude and short tempered. The person who made the reservation will need to bring their ID even though it is not stated anywhere. They only make exceptions to certain people and when you ask them why they say they can’t do it for everyone. Once the manager came in and I told him how it was unfair that he treated other customers compared to me, he apologized and ended up helping us during check in.

1. I could not have a phone conversation due to bad service. 2. Both machines in "gym" were broken 3. I was so sick.(ended up in hospital from dehydration), I asked for a piece of bread or crackers, his response was "You can order a hamburger or pasta" , I needed help with figuring out laundry, his response "It is not our responsibility for your laundry. 4. During my days of being sick they were jackhammering and demolishing a room 3 doors down the WHOLE day 5. I had to ask several times for room to be cleaned. 6. THe pool area is beautiful but there is NOTHING else around. 7. THe local beach is very nice as well "Bachoco" So frustrated to have spent that amount of money. The two men at front desk had a little English but no one else.

The rooms were OK, however, they lack a personal safe. There were gaps in the doors that allowed local insects to crawl in. I asked the front desk for assistance getting a small lizard out of the room, and they never showed up They later told me it was harmless. The staff was not friendly most of the time.
