Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and amenities were great. The pool was very nice and so was the access to the ocean.

The staff was exceptional. The location and setting was exceptional. But some things were substandard. Breakfast was boring and same every day. Eg no croissants or breakfast pastries, only bread for toast. No cheese or cold meat or fish selection. No variety of fruits. Rooms were spacious but… no closet, no hangers. No place to hang clothes, no place to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Huge balcony with a tiny two-seater couch with no cushions. No cushions on the indoor couch either. A little attention to deal would go a long way - no tea bags in room. No wine glasses.

What an awful place. Our main issue apart from the steep hills was the lies told by one of the people in reception. The wi fi in our room was bad for our whole stay and I need wi fi for business. One of the reception people said it had been caused by bad weather and the problem affected the whole place. This was a blatant lie as I checked the speed in reception and it was at least twenty times faster in reception. If only she had been honest and said she knew it was bad in our area but to come up to reception where it is fine. Instead she lied even when I showed her the difference in speed between the two areas. On top of this the food at breakfast was often cold. One day none of the burners were lit under the warming trays and no one had noticed. We had the most expensive room and sitting on it we saw a wall whilst less expensive rooms had glass. They offered to move us to a less expensive room but no mention of a refund. Every body we spoke to was paying less than the 232 pounds we paid for most of the nights but on checking our receipt I noticed one night was way over 300 pounds. Their policy of only 2 capsules of coffee a day was ridiculous. At night the main entrance is poorly lit and one night I tripped on a hose which was laying across the path. The place is very hilly. The music at the pool area was infuriating and totally at odds with the demographic of the mainly elderly guests. And they are not bungalows and it is not beachfront.

Die Zimmer sind riesig und toll. Leider stimmen die Bilder auf Expedia bezüglich der Aussicht beim Deluxe Zimmer nicht mit der Realität überein. Die normalen Zimmer haben keinen Meerblick bzw. aus einer Ecke des Balkons sieht man ein kleines Stück Meer. Wie so oft wird man mit falschen Bildern in die Irre geführt, was zur Enttäuschung führt. Wir hatten einen riesigen Baum vor unserer Terrasse und auch von den anderen Zimmern hat man kaum Sicht aufs Meer.

C’est un très bel endroit, privé. Le confort est au rendez-vous. La salle à manger offre une vue spectaculaire sur la baie et la chambre aussi. Accès facile à la plage. La nourriture est correct.

This property was definitely off the beaten path. It was not well lit at night which made it almost scary to walk to dinner. They did not have many dining options and the menu is limited and redundant.

This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! The pool overlooking the sea was awesome! Samara is a short drive away and the beach is within walking distance from the property! We highly recommend this place!

A fuir …..

Le service n’est pas du tout en lien avec le luxe du lieu. Absolument pas traité comme un client Gold; alors que la chambre était prête, arrivé à 13h30, on m’a dit qu’il fallait que j’attende l’heure officielle d’enregistrement (15h00). Pas très pro. Je n’avais pas pris l’option sourire (payante), donc pas reçu à l’accueil. J’ai dû rappeler pas moins de 4 fois que j’avais droit à un coupon de $25, vraiment pénible. La chambre choisie avait une vue mer; pas de vue en entrant dans la chambre . Ils l’ont répondu «  ce sont les photos qu’on met weir le site mais seulement quelques chambres ont vue mer » Finalement, ils m’ont dégradé de niveau de chambre pour que j’obtienne vue mer. Piscine au personnel très bruyant (conversations bruyantes entre eux, talkie walkie en mode « forte ». Tous les compléments horriblement chers. Bref, on comprend la philosophie de cet établissement pas du tout axé sur le service. À 300 euros la nuit, c’est très en-deçà du niveau requis. Notre pire hôtel sur les 20 nuits passées au Costa Rica.
