This is a remote mountain village in rural Spain. It's beautiful. Not too many people speak English, but if you're patient and have a translation app, you can get by quite well. Our neighbors were fantastic and we watched the eclipse with them on our deck, went to dinner with them and were invited to dinner. We bicycled the Senda del Oso and saw the bear in the impoundment. The medieval village of bandejo is worth a visit and the owner of the bar there is very friendly. The Internet is adequate but there is no air conditioning. It cools off nicely at night.We used the mercado in Trubia for supplies. There is an excellent bicycle shop that rents hundreds of bikes and ebikes. They were very friendly. If you try your Spanish, people are forgiving and helpful.
