"Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. "We stayed in a very spacious, modern, clean Executive Suite at a reasonable rate. The staff were amazing (special thanks to David)— polite, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was relatively new with some teething problems such as inconsistent hot water delivery and pool and spa were not yet operational.
