「Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times.」

If you need quick access to Carmel, Monterey etc it could be too far BUT if you have the time for a nice drive each way it’s totally worth it. Host was very helpful and responsive. 「This is a very cozy cottage with lots of outdoor spaces to take in the views. The host that lives next door has an extensive garden with hummingbird feeders all over. The owners were super accommodating and have everything you could possibly need while staying in their home. 「I have stayed at all sorts of beautiful vacation rentals in amazing areas, and this is the only one that I have ever wanted to revisit. The cabin, charming, I loved the decor, rustic elegance is what comes to mind. So many fun details. The house was completely stocked with everything. 「Don't pay extra to have the pool heated! We did and they never heated it. There wasn't even water going into the pool so I'm not sure the pool is ever heated. They also wouldn't refund us for the money we spent "heating" the pool or answer my messages about it while I was there. And the pool cover was broken and took up an extra two feet of the pool. The pool's one of the biggest draws of this property, so just a heads up.」

「部屋は山ビューの２階　ロスからサンフランシスコへ行く途中２泊しました。 暖炉付きのリビングは広さも十分でおしゃれなインテリア。冷蔵庫にはワイン他の飲み物にチーズも。水までセットされたネスプレッソ。飲み水はレモングラスの入った瓶の水が用意されています。スナックも置いてあります。これらはお代わりをすると有料ですが最初はフリーです。 バスルームも広くてシンプルで使いやすい。　オーバーサイズのバスタブも気持よく、タイルは床暖房。夏でも寒い日のあるカーメルでは嬉しい。 レストランの食事も美味しいし、スタッフもいい人達で　是非また利用したいです。」
