Good location
I have stayed 45 days for my business trip. This hotel is just good enough for stay. There is not fancy facilities, but you can find shopping mall near by, super market across the road.

I liked the setup of the location having easy access to the stairwell to the back entrance so I didn't have to walk from one side of the building to the other when I was staying. I could after a long day out in Portland get into the building and into my room safely and quickly.

The location is great. The hotel is very dirty. My room had roaches in it. It’s an extended stay so you’ve got some questionable people living there as well. Tried to get into my room one night and it wouldn’t open. The front desk gal came up and had to body slam the door to open it. That felt very unsafe. There’s nothing in the kitchen for use, you have to ask for stuff. But I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because of the roaches. They did issue me a full refund because it was such an awful stay. There was a huge hole in the wall in the hallway. Just not somewhere I would bring my family and feel comfortable in. I came solo for the reptile show. I wouldn’t stay again though, it was too gross.

Pathetic property. Dirty sofa. Bed bugs. Smelly room. Checked-in around 11:15 PM, no one was at reception. Almost 8 minutes to figure out from where we should call someone. For family of four only one blanket. Most important no prior work inspite of knowing family is coming. No utensils in kitchen. We have to take everything from lobby and do whole basic service. Never go to this hotel.

I asked for dishes to be brought to my room like they advertise everywhere in the property, and I had to go to the desk to get them, and when I got them I asked for two place settings and a pan. What I got was 2 plates, 2 cups, a pot, and a spatula and was told they had no silverware, or pans, and the dishes I did get were dirty. Also, there was a lot of yelling and slamming coming from a room down the hall. Oh ya, and the doors are super light so they slam shut if you don't hold it until it closes. Not cool.

Cons: staff was cold and unreceptive. Property is shoddy and smelled like a homeless camp. Trash was in all stairwells, which is unseemly and a fire hazard. Pros: affordable Location is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Pets are welcome.

This is just my experience, but I was on a business trip and knew I would arrive quite late around 2am. Unfortunately, due to a severe snow storm my in time became 3:30am. Tim, who was at the desk when I checked in told me that a noon checkout instead of the normal 11am would be alright and if I stayed any hour after it would be $10 per hour. Grateful, I accepted the noon checkout. Walking through the halls to my room. There were rolled up carpet pieces and ladders. The halls smelled like old cigarette smoke amd there were several rooms that had very disruptive people causing commotion in their rooms. Yelling and screaming matches were heard all night and into the morning. When I entered my room, the smoke smell worsened and my allergies kicked in for a restless sleep. (I did not request a smoke free room or expect it but this was a bit out of normal wear and tear after a cleaning). The bathtub was full of short black hairs and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. I woke up to housekeeping trying to get into my room at three separte occasions. Between the hours of 10am and 11:30am. Not sure why two of these times would be before a regular checkout time but it was very inconsiderate to scare me awake after I had thought I settled the late checkout and I thought it may have been other guests breaking in. When I left, I gave my feedback and I hope that their communication breakdown improves, that they clean the halls and rooms better and the smoke smell.

Unfortunately, the room had a horrible stale stench that would not go away. We had a false fire alarm at 3:00 am that took 20 minutes to shut off. Breakfast offering was minimal. I will not stay there again.

The girl at the counter "Grace" was very polite and professional. The room was very good and smelled a lot better than last time. My only complaint was that garbage cans were hard to find and overflowing with trash. Cigarette smokers threw their butts all over the grounds instead of in the provided butt cans. That was pretty gross. I think Grace was by herself, so I think they were understaffed.

Upon checking in the front desk somehow my reservation was interrupted and there was a glitch into acquiring my room. Expedia is an Excellent site and I never had issues with the site. It was the Hotel staff or hotel computer system that caused the mishap with my room. While sleeping and resting (after a seven hour drive and finally resting) l was interrupted by the hotel front desk clerk. I answered my door and she Insisted I go and pay for my room, of which I had already set up through Expedia. I found that very discomforting and in a way degrading. I would like to understand what happened and why this had to be handled in this manner. I didn't ask upon my departure I jus wanted to go upon my business. Please let me know what I did wrong with my reservation and how can I do things differently to avoid this from happening again.

Lots of shopping and restaurants - loved that it had a full kitchen and the bed was pretty comfortable. Check in and out was very easy, but disappointed that I could not pay cash for the two nights. I'm glad I had the $ in my bank account because they would not take cash. The heater was very loud and annoying (Room 130), woke me up several times during the night when it came on. Key card did not work very well, had to try it four or five times before the green light came on. When they advertised "breakfast", I did not realize it would be just a cart with oatmeal and granola bars. They also did not have decaf coffee which was also disappointing. I've never stayed somewhere that it wasn't an option. Overall a decent experience

Never Again!!!
Took a chance, that I will never do again. Shower didn't work (luckily one night stay), the hallways smelled and were filled with trash. Internet was extremely slow. Enough said.

This is a nice-looking property, but I was shocked to find a full kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, sink, microwave, 2-burner stove and plenty of cabinets - all of which were totally empty. There was no coffee pot, no pots or pans of any kind, no cutlery, no plates, cups or glasses. (I went back to my RV which was being worked on near by and got what I needed rather than invest in one of their "kitchen packages.") Other than black areas (mold?) on the grout between the tub and tile, the room looked clean. The bed was comfortable, the hot water, heat and AC worked (although the heater was noisy when it kicked in), but the room was a long walk from the elevator. I learned to use the back stairs and park close to the rear door, although the landings were often littered with cigarette butts and trash bags, and the rear door was never locked. (This is a no smoking property, and it seemed that the smokers used that exit to go outside to smoke.) If I need a hotel in Hillsboro in the future, I will look elsewhere, but if I can't find a similar price, I would stay here again.

Very basic. It was clean but well used, approaching shabby. Tiny room, other noises from guests readily apparent. Very difficult to find the entrance; not their problem but terrible traffic planning.
