「Everything was fine. It was quiet and peaceful. They made good use of the space - placing furniture to optimize the view. I sent a message before check-in- which was never responded to. It's a partial view of a tidal flat. Calling it an ocean view is a reach. That being said, I enjoyed the somewhat wild landscaping leading down to the view.」

「I have had many pleasant experiences with VRBO but the experience at Whidbey House was just about perfect. The hosts were helpful and responsive, the property is beautiful and we had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use and the water was always hot! As a bonus, we were visited daily by a family of deer. I cannot think of any element that is missing from this lively Whidbey Island vacation spot. 」

The only struggle was that the streets are very busy & noisy, yet thankfully my room was still quiet overall. 「Everything our family of 3 needed. Cozy yet spacious enough. Very clean. Beds super comfy. All appliances and heaters functioned well. The kitchen had everything we needed, not difficult to cook meals there. Functioning blender was a plus for me (morning smoothies). We used the BBQ, and the Hot tub was nice to have as well :)Location: Quiet, pleasant neighborhoodHost: Lane was easy to get a hold of and always responded to emails through VRBO. But we didn't need to bother her much as the place...
