"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Intermar Hotel. The suite had an excellent view over the beach, and the water. The feeling of wellness to be able to wake up to the sound of the waves, and the view over the water to Oxen islands is something special. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony. The hotel was very quiet, the bed was excellent and we slept well. The breakfast buffet was very good with a varied selection. Staff is very friendly and very service minded. The beachfront has a wide avenue were you can enjoy evening walks."

"I have been staying at the Hotel Sonderborg Strand for many years, it is my preferred hotel to stay at when i am over in Sonderborg on business. its a very relaxing place to stay with views over the Ocean, Staff are very friendly and professional."

"Self check in was not easy. No reception staff available. Room was clean, very basic, had to share a communal kitchen one floor above ours. Booked sea view, ours had huge buildings in front of our window with a little view of the water to the side if it! Very disappointed. Also had many steps from the car park to entrance, not good if you have big cases to carry!"
