"Walk around the building and you're on Dog Beach, Ocean Beach. You can't get a closer location. Perfect if you're bringing your friends to stay the day at the beach. Dog Beach is an off leash Beach so they can run and have fun hanging with 400 of their closest friends. This hotel is old, built in 1960. They keep it up for the most part. Employees are exceptional, always there to help. It's rated at 2 stars, which must not take into consideration the location. We used to stay down at a cove. Three times the cost, and had to load up the car and drive here. Now we hook the leashes on, literally walk around the corner and we're on the beach. This was our 7th time staying here, and next year will be our eighth. "
