"Wir haben eine Ferienwohnung für eine Woche gebucht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und stand uns bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung war komplett ausgestattet und alles sehr neu und äußerst Sauber. Das Schlafsofa war etwas unangenehm, dazu muss man aber sagen wir schlafen immer sehr weich, das ist Geschmacksache. Stellplätze gibt es dazu und die Umgebung war ein Traum. Wir können es jedem zur Empfehlen dort zu übernachten."

"Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zum Meer sind es 5min Fahrt mit dem Auto ,zu Fuß wäre es zu gefährlich da es scharfe und enge Kurven gibt und kein Fußweg vorhanden ist. Das Internet ist zu schwach und hat leider immer wieder nicht richtig funktioniert. Kommunikation war mit dem Eigentümer immer auf Englisch möglich, dafür aber sehr freundlich. Der Eigentümer wohnt neben an und hat sich morgens und abends um den Pool ( war leider meistens im Schatten deshalb für Kinder zu kalt gewesen)...

Villa Silentio near Makarska, heated pool, complete privacy

"Beautiful villa and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Totally private and very peaceful. There are no amenities such as shops in walking distance. We were contacted via WhatsApp and greeted on arrival by Zivka who welcomed us warmly and left a stunning selection of fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden, wine, beer, local brandy and bread. So very generous. There is a fantastic local restaurant called Argentina which we wholeheartedly recommend. It is a fair distance to walk or a 5min drive. Or you could use the handy bikes provided. Makarska is a 30min drive away and stunning but there are lots of lovely villages nearby. Dubrovnik is just over 2 hours away in the car. Can't fault our holiday and would definitely recommend. "

"Incredible villa, the best we've ever stayed in. We were 2 families of 4 and had a fantastic time at Villa Iva. The multi-level design is hugely impressive (with the finish being to the very highest standard), perfect for sunbathing by the pool, family meals on the terrace and all round relaxation - the whole area is very peaceful. Our host, Iva, was also excellent - very responsive and helpful, great communication. Excellent location too with Podgora just a short drive away for restaurants and beach, and Makarska for the supermarket and further amenities. Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again - 5 stars all round."

"We had a wonderful. peaceful 6 days in this villa and could have stayed here for our whole holiday. The house itself was beautifully presented with so much attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we could need. The pool area is amazing with fantastic views over the sea to the islands. My teenage sons enjoyed the small gym area although the wonderful weather meant we didn't need to use the sauna. The fantastic BBQ area and outside kitchen meant we ate in most evenings, after which we could enjoy family games of pool in the games room. Magda and Alen were great hosts, very responsive and helpful. There was bread, fruit and meats waiting for us on our arrival and a waters edge table and complementary desserts when we ate at their restaurant which is well worth a visit.The villa is in a great location to visit Split, Dubrovnik and take boat trips the islands. We also did white water rafting during our stay and visited some secluded quiet beaches. All in all the villa exceeded our expectations and was even better than the photos portray. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The BEST SERVICE & THE CLEANEST hotel we have stayed in for many years!! The room was fantastic - very large. Very comfortable - very well equipped. Air con was fantastic, fridge for cool drinks. Great showeroom! Pool with an amazing view. The guys who run this place were easily the most professional, hospitable and considerate we’ve ever met anywhere in the world. The food was fabulous. Gorgeous breakfast everyday too We would absolutely love to come back here again! Thank you. "
