Would love to stay here again

Great hotel in the middle of the city. Everything is in walking distance, including gondola to the Christ statue. They also have an amazing buffet breakfast! Can't wait to stay here again.

The hotel was situated in the heart of town. Easy access to downtown.Great views from the balcony.The food was exceptional! The staff was curious and friendly with many of them speaking English.

This property was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and it delivered exactly what it promised. My only shock was - the rooms did not have any AC due to the historic nature of the building but thankfully the fan that was provided was sufficient for the room. Overall I will visit this hotel again!

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to shops. Loved the breakfast. Room was nice. The hotel itself needs a lot of renovation. We used the pool, but there was a lot of noise from renovation, not very relaxing. It has seen better days.

As it is a city heritage, I understand that it is an old building. I even like it. But it's expensive, unkempt and dirty. The shower was disgusting, the tiles never get clean. I will never recommend this hotel again and I will never recommend it to anyone.

Grand but disappointing hotel

The hotel is an icon of Pocos de Caldas. Outside and inside it is beautiful. Therefore it really is such a pity that the hotel was disappointing. The rooms are OK - but probably in need of modernisation. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in the city. Service is a serious issue - some staff are great but others appeared to have a bad attitude - one even swore. Another issue with the hotel is the way it seems to make simple things difficult with lots of bureaucracy - at times it is painful. Bureaucracy is a fact of life in Brazil - but there were instances where the hotel took it to a new level. If the hotel improved its service it would make a huge difference because it truly is iconic and mostly beautiful

People were wonderful, I loved every one, they worked hard, The food was great, breakfast was delicious, wonderful, but would be great if they had a omelette station! problems with my bedding, terribly pillows, and mattresses, I don't understand they don't have vacuums, but everything looks good and clean!

São dois os pontos que me decepcionaram, o cobertor estava com marcas estranhas de sujeira e o meu carro que ficou no estacionamento pago do hotel, no dia seguinte estava extremamente sujo, sendo que quando eu cheguei ele estava totalmente limpo e lavado. Acredito realmente que se ele tivesse ficado na rua seria melhor.

Hotel bom, com problema sério de limpeza

Hotel com bom atendimento, bons quartos, boas refeições. A arquitetura do prédio é muito bonita. O negativo que gostaria de relatar aqui é com relação ao banheiro, que é muito sujo, cf a foto anexa mostra: vaso sanitário sujo, chão sujo e junta dos pisos que há muito tempo não se limpa. Sugiro uma faxina séria nestes banheiros.

O Hotel é lindo. Me senti como se estivesse voltado no tempo. Ambiente aconchegante e muito tranquilo. É realmente para quem quer fugir de hotéis movimentados demais. Quanto a limpeza, o Hotel é antigo então há pisos antigos por exemplo, mas busca-se manter tudo limpinho. Minha única ressalva é quanto ao check in. Reservamos dois quartos e o atendente nem percebeu que um era de casal (para mim e meu esposo) e acabou trocando os quartos. Tivemos que trocar as chaves nós mesmos. E também não havia na recepção quem ajudasse com as malas. No geral eu recomendo o hotel sim. Pela beleza, tranquilidade, variedade de opções no café da manhã e a piscina (linda e quentinha).
