「Excellent location, walk to the beach/pulperia. Everything you might need or want in a community kitchen with an endless supply of coffee and sugar! BBQ, pool, grounds, & parking area - well thought out! Pet-friendly and overall very impressed with this property. 」

「The breakfast was fresh (a buffeta of: rice, beans, plantains, fresh fruit (pineapple, watermelon, and papaya), eggs, chorizo, ham, potatoes and toast). The staff seemed nice and one of them used a translator on her phone to communicate in English with me upon arrival when I asked if I had a balcony with a view of the beach. It was a VERY small balcony just large enough to stand on and if I looked ALL the way to the right I could see the beach. Other than that I would look at an empty lot used...

「Nothing about this stay was acceptable. If I could give less than one star, I would. 1. No hot water in the unit. 2. Kitchen was infested with ants and effectively unusable, forcing us to eat out. 3. Curtain rail in the bedroom was held together with duct tape and eventually fell down onto my children. 4.Beds were misrepresented in the listing. It advertised one King and two Queens; in reality, it was one Queen and two Double beds. 5. Only two towels were provided for four people....

「I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. 」

「On new Year's Eve at 8pm ready to take a shower and go out we noticed no towels and 6" dirty standing water in shower. Went to off and called with no response. Found another number and someone showed up. Told us to deal with it or leave. On New Year's Eve we were going to leave at 8pm!! Exsteamly hostile..」

「Beautiful little gem up in the mountains with a beautiful view. Near a wonderful stretch of beaches but a long rough gravel road so be prepared if you plan to venture out. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed with a cocktail. WiFi was solid, breakfast was delicious. We only stayed one night but the pool looked beautiful and inviting. Very lovely spot and quiet and relaxing. Service was impeccable. 」

「Yes, the view was great. The pool was a great temperature, a little cool to refresh us. Plus 1 shower to take sand and sea off and another tap for feet and shoes . Lovely flowers in the garden. Great big fridge in the apartment. Breakfast was served in your room at a pre- agreed time. Every day different fruit and eggs , etc. 」

「This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. 」
