"This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

Die Gastgeber wohnen im gleichen Gebäude wie die Wohnungen, sind sehr gastfreundlich und problemlos zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten in die Stadt. Ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen. "Our family of 4 (2 adults with 2 daughters in early 20s) had a fabulous holiday in Crete. The apartment is wonderful with all the charm of an old building which has been sympathetically restored and modernised to a high standard. All the rooms are large and we found having two bathrooms to be a bonus. "The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). Everything worked effectively and when the kettle broke, this was replaced...
