We were there for 4 nights. The staff made it one of the most memorable stays we had anywhere in the world (we both travel a lot globally for both pleasure and business). They were warm, friendly and showed a genuine interest in making us feel welcomed. We were on vacation, but we had packed lots of things into our schedule. Hotel staff was finding ways to help us enjoy our visit and somehow do everything we wanted to do. Special kudos to Kaveen (for greeting us every morning with a smile and...

Stayed here for a few nights and mostly used it as a place to sleep. The hotel was pretty nice for the price. It had a B&B atmosphere to it. The room and the bathroom were fairly clean and comfortable. We felt very safe at this property. For shopping and dining, there's not much in the surrounding area which was the only downside. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

There are multiple activities within walking distance - casino, spa, bar, pool. sea, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. The hotel is self contained and enjoyable by family members of different ages. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Colombo. It is new and well maintained. Staff speak English, friendly, and helpful.

Location attached to Colombo City Centre mall for a range of shopping options. Tuk Tuk and taxis easily accessible.

Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and pleasant. I brought home good memories of my stay at FAIR VIEW HOTEL. My wife and I liked the spacious Executive Room on the 8th floor with wonderful sea-view from 20 feet by 12 feet glass window on the West side of the Room. We stayed for 5 nights in May 9 to 14, 2016. King size Bed was good and comfortable. Bath room was spacious with separate Shower space with glass door and a large 'RAIN" shower. The Breakfast Buffet which came with...

Nice

GREAT location in heart of city overlooking ocean! I needed early check-in after 30 hours of travel and the lobby staff was very helpful. I will be staying here again & have recommended this place to my friends.

Staff is really nice and attentive

Magical hotel in the best area of Sri Lanka. Unlike other high end hotels, you really feel like part of the Cinnamon community here. I had wonderful days just staying in the hotel and getting work done in the magnificent lobby while drinking coffee and eating delicious pastries . The restaurants are all top notch and the service was amazing. Looking forward to another stay soon . It's like a hub for the Sri Lankan cultural elite. The decor also stands apart from other five star hotels - truly...

Bed is comfortable huge room, good customer service great working ac. Thanks

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

this was a perfect boutique hotel. staff was helpful, room was very good and the restaurant had amazing food. there is only one issue that I had with the room - there were not enough sockets in the wall for a computer, phone, etc. the staff did bring an extra electrical strip but the connections were not tight enough and worked on and off. since there are only 10 rooms the staff gave a lot of personal attention

We were disappointed that we were unable to stay more than one night! My partner and I misread our flight schedule and had to leave a night earlier than anticipated. The Cinnamon Red staff were wonderful and we were given a beautiful room fir our final night in Colombo. We paid extra for late check-out and it was worth it! We will definitely stay again if we're lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka again. Thank you

My family and I recently enjoyed a one-day stay at the Hotel Mandarina, and it was truly a five-star experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about our time there. The hotel's location was excellent, making it easy for us to get in and out of the city. We were impressed by the delicious breakfast buffet and prompt room service. I would like to give a special shout-out to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Shafffe, who provided us with personalized service and made our stay...

Very comfortable and centrally located hotel It was very clean and beds very comfortable I would love to return to this hotel

Hotel is a former 100-year old mansion that has been beautifully and sensitively transformed into a boutique hotel. Each of the 8 rooms is individually decorated with the upstairs rooms being especially spacious. Room decor is reflective of the colonial era (teak canopy beds, secretaries, decorative antiques) with fully modern amenities (lovely bathroom, A/C, satellite TV). We had dinner and breakfast at the property. Both were delicious with spice levels matching guest preference. While...

One reason for which i decided to stop at this hotel was its location on the beach by the ocean, the rooms look and spacious green territory for relaxation with multiple pools. I don't regret a minute that I made this choice! It was absolutely worth it! The price reasonable for an excellent service quality! Very clean and extremely comfortable and homey rooms! Soft beds, sofa in the room and patio on top of everything! Every room is with view and patio! Isn't that amazing? And falling asleep...
