"What a nice surprise. I was a bit skeptical about staying there based on some of the reviews and wow was I impressed. The room was spacious, staff very friendly, the putting surface in the back yard was in great shape and we had fun playing on it. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Apparently it's under new ownership and it must be making a difference."

"Stones have fallen the outside of the building not been replace and some siding was missing. The waterfront restaurant refused to seat us near the water because some tables were not bused and they didn't have staff to clean them was their answer, even though employees were standing around, 14 tables were empty. so much for the waterfront. Would have been a great sunset."

"Spent a week here with sisters and their spouses. Plenty of room for all of us to have our own bedroom. Well-equipped house with good bathroom facilities. No issues with furniture or broken anything. Spent a good deal of time on the back deck and fire pit patio. Hosts were very responsive to a minor issue we had with garbage pickup, and communicative regarding coming to the property to access the garages. We had perfect weather, and despite being close to the park, the noise level from the neighborhood was minimal inside the house. Large comfy bedrooms and plenty of room for guests who stopped to visit. Kitchen facilities and equipment all in good working order. Everything sparkling clean, and if you like walnuts and acorns, you'll be entertained by them falling frequently. Walking distance to several stores and restaurants, as well as a great public sidewalk along the lakeshore that lasts for several blocks. Neighbors were very welcoming. Wouldn't be surprised if we return there soon!"

"A wonderful place to stay and very conveniently located! Very family-friendly, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Nice that the bedrooms were located close to each other, LOVED the huge closets. The decor was very modern and chic! (A couple things could've been a bit better, the stools at the island countertop were extremely wobbly and unstable and the kitchen garbage can was broken.) Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again!"

"This home was a great place for our family. There is PLENTY of space from the downstairs and upstairs living rooms to the garage area to the breezeway to the front or backyards. The kitchen is small, but very well stocked. The only thing I would suggest is to purchase more forks. Everything else we needed was there. Pans and cooking sheets were clean and plentiful. Beach towels are available as well. The walking distance to Arnold’s Park was a huge plus for us and we took advantage of the trail along the lake for beautiful views both day and night. There are a few outdoor games: ladder ball, yard dice, and a homemade ping pong table. Bean bag boards would be a definite plus and a good add. There were plenty of outdoor chairs as well. The property owner’s communication was very good and quick. I had identified an issue and it was quickly rectified. If we need another rental in the area, I will definitely consider this location. I would suggest you bring camping type chairs or blankets along to sit comfortably and enjoy the music down at the park. This stay was a great experience."
