Very nice and friendly hotel - some of staffs English was difficult to understand but they were very friendly and service minded. It had everything we needed but some parts (in the gym for example) were outdated. The hotel were very relaxing, located in the outskirts but as taxi is very cheap so it’s not a problem to go to the more ”busy evening area”.

Great clean quiet hotel with lovely beach.

I booked a beach front bangalow, and it was really clean and nice. Comfy bed, clean room. There were some mozzies but mozzies are everywhere. Their breakfast was standard but fresh. Staff were really friendly. Beach was quiet and clean, I assume the hotel cleanes everyday. Its a bit of distance from the main tourist area so if you dont rent a bike, cost for taxi might be a bit at the end. It was around 10mins by car. Plan to come back next year.

We had some troubles

Room smelly. There were many mosquitoes in the room. Towel is dirty. Mildew was growing in breakfast bread.

Very kind staffs expecially reception staff! Apprecite for Welcom pet But facility is old not enough clean.. Ants.. cockroach.. bugs.. in the room And make clean explain to customers for breakfast (no buffet but limited order? Hmm)

Toller Strand - Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Blick auf Strand und Meer, was will man mehr? Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, wenn auch die gesamte Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen sein zu scheint. Der Strand ist einfach super, total ruhig, breit und tief, Liegen und Schirme super! Das Personal hat uns für 8€ am Tag einen Roller organisiert, damit kommt man dann auch gut auf die etwas entfernte Küstenstraße. Auch wenn der Ort überwiegend in russischer Hand ist, findet man immer ein nettes Lokal oder Restaurant. Das Frühstück war üppig, lecker und gut. Leider war die Kitesurf Schule nicht besetzt, das war eigentlich auch ein Grund für die Wahl des Hotels. Wer also einfach etwas entspannen will, sollte hier hin kommen, Party und etwas mehr Action findet man in Mui Ne

Ruhiges und kleines Resort

Ruhige und idyllische Lage. Perfekt für eine Auszeit nebst dem doch eher lauten und hektischen Alltag der vietnamesischen Städten. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kinder dort und für alle gab es was. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Nydelige omgivelser med stort potensiale. God service tross dårlige engelskkunnskaper. Dårlig renhold og helt ok mat. Vi hadde bassenget for oss selv store deler av oppholdet. Veldig stille og rolig, men ganske mye vind da vi var der. God valuta for pengene.

A little tired far away from Mui Ne

Lovely beach, but the resort is far away from everything...Mui Ne and Phan Thiet.. The breakfast was poor. nothing is kept chilled. this means that cheese has melted for example... easy to get bad stomach. Room is very clean but rundown. Most of the furniture must be replaced. Towels and Bathrobe have rust stains. The Same goes for the sunbeds and the beach and pool area. they need to be repaired or replaced.

Service non existant but BEAUTIFUL place

BEAUTIFUL PARADIES BEACH AND HOTEL but be prepared for: a closed restaurant, to beg for a sandwich so you don't have to drive 6km into town, sleeping staff, setting up you beach mat yourself every morning, an enjoying breakfast service etc. Anyway we enjoyed it because the place was so beautiful. We should have taken the beach view, it's really worth it! Standard rooms are quite dark..

Nice hotel no service

Arrived after travelling 2 months by motor bike in SE Asia. Just wanted a couple of beach days. great looking menu. but lunch was only ham and cheese toasted sandwich on offer. Could not find staff at pool bar restaurant to get a beer. Dinner told by 2 staff in restaurant there was no dinner on offer at all. It is a long way to anywhere else to eat. Why not have one staff member and chef to at least offer something to guests or advise early the restaurant will not be open.

Not what I expected

While the view was beautiful from our room, I was not impressed with the resort. We booked for three people, but were informed of hidden expenses upon arrival. We didn't receive an overview of the amenities of the resort, nor were given a map or any information about the surrounding area. To top it off, the wifi in our room did not work and there was bird droppings on one of the bed sheets. While it was replaced when asked the dirty sheets were just left on the floor and there was no cleaning service in the morning. Overall, I was disappointed with White Sands Resort.

It would have been nice if they would have mentioned that is was the slow season and that they had nothing open at the hotel. No food or drinks available on property what so ever. We had to take a taxi into town if we wanted to eat anything. The pool was not clean. The pool table had a big rip in the felt, rendering the only activity to do on property useless. This place has potential but was very disappointed for what I got for what I paid.

Good Location, Need Immediate Renovation

Hotel need a lot of renovation as it's an old resort at good location but not maintained well. However I believe staff's approach, attitude & behaviour is keeping the ray hope for this resort.

My Family of 6 stayed there 3 nights and love the fact that it was at the end of the beach so it was very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very accommodating and help us prepare our fresh seafood that we bought from a nearby market. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Mui Ne Vietnam.

Quiet!

You never know until you find out! White Sands will give you a taste of isolation..if that's what you're looking for! The nearest restaurant is a mile or two walk down the beach if you're up for it. It does have one of the best beaches on the strip though; clean and well kept. We had a beautiful sea view. Pool was dirty. Room in very shabby condition. Overpriced in that sense. But the breakfast was decent.
