It’s a beautiful walk to the center city but in a much quieter location. Only negative is lack of air conditioning but I must say, you get used to not having one fairly quickly

Great location, wonderful boutique hotel in the countryside. I recommend the 5th floor suites with the Mountain View.

The view from our balcony was pure magic! Breakfast buffet was delicious! The location was so convenient- shops, restaurants, grocery store, Grindelwald First, and train station all steps away.

The drive up was an experience on its own, the location is indescribably beautiful with panoramic views of the mountains, green valleys and blue lakes below, spotted with little farms and villages. Staff was supremely helpful and kind, treated us like family, offering advice and perspective on surrounding areas and other destinations along our trip. The room was comfortable and beautiful as well. Food was delicious, the pool is a must do experience. They let us charge our EV for free in the garage. The hiking trails around the property were borderline unoccupied and yet very well maintained, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. We were able to easily walk to the nearby Bürgenstock to get lunch and take the catamaran to Lucerne and back. My only regret is that I did not stay longer.
