I chose a king room on your website which cost more but received a two queen room when I arrived. Very unsatisfied with your service, and feel that I shouldn’t have to have a confrontation at the hotel of my choice. This has happened several times in the past, and I may try another online service next time.

We showed up and they couldn’t check us in because of their internet. We told them we pay cash and then they said they were overbooked.

Tough times perhaps?
Think the attendant may have been asleep when we checked in. Rang the bell several times. Breakfast bar also no attended and many food items not replenished. Housekeeping just walked into room without knocking finding both by wife and myself not dressed.

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. However, there was a bunch of mud caked on the rug by the entryway and it was never cleaned during our entire stay. The elevator was out, too, so we stayed on the first floor. The workmanship of the new hotel was below my expectations for a new hotel. The staff was great.

First room I was assigned the thermostat was not functional and room was hot. I was assigned a new room, with no issues.

The bathroom in our room did NOT have a vent and therefore it was very humid after taking a shower. Also there was black on the tile and floor. Not sanitary!!!!

I realize that things are different with covid, ie; mask wearing and whatnot, but the standard for a holiday inn express should be consistent. The desk person kept sticking her head around the plexiglass and lowering her mask. The tub had hairs in it, there was dirt on the TV stand and of the 9 folks I encountered only 2 had masks on. Breakfast buffet during covid? Pool open during covid? Sharing elevators with non family members? I truly hope this was an exception to the HI Express chain as that I have always found them to be a step above other motel chains. Especially given the price one pays.

I liked that the shower gel, shampoo, and conditoner were in pump bottles in the shower and the pool’s tamp entry was nice. I wish there had been a mirror over the desk in my room, so I could do my makeup there when my husband or kids were in the bathroom. I would have used the full length mirror, but the lighting in the entryway was too dark and there was nowhere to set my makeup bag. We loved the pancake machine at breakfast, but the eggs and sausage tasted very processed. We enjoyed our stay overall and will probably stay there again if/when we return to Perryton.
