「Absolutely beautiful building and location on Ullswater, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle off fizz on arrival was a nice touch. Road noise can be a slight issue but does die down of an evening and can’t really be heard from inside. Generator only runs for a short while sporadically and again isn’t a real problem. Would highly recommend at the time of year we went -views are fantastic. I would definitely return!」

「The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out..」

「Great location for us as we wanted to explore that area. Cottage is set out lovely, you can relax on a cosy sofa looking out over the hills from large patio doors. Bedroom cosy with a comfortable bed. Would be a positive improvement if you got some new bedding. Kitchen well equipped but please, please clean the oven and the overhead fan. Bathroom with a large shower with lovely hot water, but please, please mend the broken tiles and re grout the base of the shower. Great tv but needs...
