Anne and Paul are wonderful hosts. This is the first time that I've stayed in a B&B in this area and the experience has totally exceeded my expectations. My wife and i stayed here for a stargazing road trip. I was prepared for a rustic room but was pleasantly surprised to walk into a very tastefully decorated room with a beautiful bathroom. Bed was clean and comfortable. We met the owner,Jim, who couldn't do enough for us. The gift shop carried items not usually found in these kinds of shops. All in all we had a great time and our stay at the Hygrade was a part of that good time!!!

Absolutely LOVED staying at The Barclay. Communication with Crow was great. The decor of the house was very nice, like stepping back in time. The rooms were very spacious, we were on the 2nd floor in the Sunderland and the Swartz. The bathroom in the 2nd floor had a deep soaking tub that was so relaxing. More Handicap parking closer to entrance would be nicer. The staff saw me struggling to walk with my cane so a employee ran over with a wheel chair and took me all the way to our room and said we can keep it till we check out. She also went back and found the foot pads for the chair which made it easier to elevate the legs. I didn't like that the breakfast attendant had a bushy beard and ver long ponytail around food and dishes. That is my only negative. We'll probably go back. We really liked the pool area and temperature of water was good. Pool temperature at other hotels is usually too cold. Hotel classy.

Stayed in Suite 6 for one night to go stargazing before the eclipse, got late checkout till 1p. This place is even better than described. I loved it there and I didn’t want to leave. Suite 6 faces the creek. It’s so relaxing back there! The rocking chairs on the porch are everything! The stars are beautiful from there too. There’s some noise from the highway but it isn’t too bad.
