"The Beachway although a little further out of town proved to be a great base to explore Devonport. The manager was friendly and accommodating. We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was delicious and the service great."

"The room was very comfortable, with a great view of the river. What lets this hotel down is parking. Self parking is apparently about 100m away from the hotel (so I was told by reception), so I chose the valet parking option, which is more expensive. It is also a little inconvenient as each time I returned the car, I needed to let them know when I would need it next, which was sometimes just a guess. Room service was quite expensive, and the portion was fairly small. There's not a big choice of restaurants in the immediate area near the hotel. "
