"Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. At the time of booking, multiple photos were shown for "deluxe studio, 1 king bed, city view" and it was not clearly indicated which unit I would receive. My friends and I booked two separate units; however, mine was a top-floor attic-style room, while theirs was not, despite only a small price difference. The room I received was not acceptable for the following reasons: * The ceiling was extremely low and uncomfortable * The room had a strong unpleasant smell * The air conditioning was not working, making it very hot and impossible to sleep * There were spider webs in the small ceiling window * There were ants in the bathroom * The bathroom also had a strong bad smell and there wasnt any AC there It was also very noisy I contacted the property during my stay and sent messages to share my concerns (specially the issue that AC was not working), but I did not receive any response or assistance. I do not reccomend this place."

"The Burgus Hotel is a real find! It is well-situated in the old city near the cathedral, but it is a slick modern enterprise. We had a lovely light supper in their small restaurant on the night we arrived. The breakfast is generous. The staff is outstanding, helpful and kind to a fault. The room and bathroom are spacious and impeccable. A real gem!"

"I booked 1 night at this hotel. When I entered the room I noticed that the bathroom had extensive mould/damp on the bathroom ceiling. I was moved to a new room. In the a different room, however I noted there were stains on the floor. When I informed reception, I was told it’s probably just coffee. The receptionist’s attitude was blasé. The breakfast was bland, not hot and lacking in variety. I stayed here for 1 night and was glad to leave. I went to INNSIDE by Melia (approx 5 minute walk) which was much better."

"Me encanto este lugar, me super impresiono lo limpio que estaba todo, el personal muy amable necesite mas toallas y enseguida que llame vinieron a traerlas, el chico de la recepción me ayudo a encontrar una tienda que estaba buscando, parqueo amplio, algo Difícil de encontrar en el area, el restaurante tiene un menu variado con precios aceptables, y el buffet del desayuno muy bueno, los recomiendo 100% y repetiría sin dudas."

"Everything was perfect. The bed was harder than I usually like but I slept well! I reserved this hotel because I had to be working in a meeting transcontinental at 2 AM. I didn’t wanna wake up my neighbors in the hotel and I needed really fast Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi worked even though it glitched a couple of times. It states it has super fast Wi-Fi. I have no complaints over that I was able to do my meetings without complaint. Soundproof walls seem to be so that was all good. In the rooms my cell service was zero from Verizon in the US with a travel pass internationally. This hotel is amazing. Has a great reception area. That’s better than going out to a Bar and the breakfast. Dinner area is wonderful as well. They even have a room that you can rent I believe for a meeting in the front. All great things at a great value through Expedia."

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh options, and the parking facilities were convenient. The hotel is also located in a safe and comfortable area, which made the stay even more enjoyable."
