The hosts were very nice. When I could not get transportation from the train station to the hotel, one of the owners came and picked me up. I tried to give her money to pay for that and she wouldn’t accept it. They also let me stay a bit later in the afternoon so that I could meet up with an Uber. Great location from which to explore Salemi. I would definitely recommend it.」

「This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. 」
