「An excellent hotel big on service and nothing was ever too much trouble. Really central to the small village centre and also a walk into Fornoli was doable. Thank you for making our brief 3 night stay so enjoyable. Love your pool - just amazing and the breakfast was superb, thank you again. 」

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und friedlich gelegen; es war dennoch möglich, tagsüber Getränke im Restaurant zu erhalten (10m von unserem Zimmer) oder im Farmladen zu erhalten. Das Baden im Pool und im Fluss (ca. 10 min Fussweg) war bei der Hitze sehr erfrischend und das Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and facilitated a smooth check in. She ensured that breakfast was to our liking and was most informative and helpful throughout the stay. The property is very quiet and peaceful. 」

「Excellent service and hospitality in a wonderful old castle on top of the hill. The city square offered the best pizza-place and evening entertainment in the square with cover band playing ABBA-hits. We will definitely come back and visit again!」

「Hotel Carignano is a perfect hotel to stay in with their great staff, easy check in, a location that is very amenable to the walled old town Lucca (tip: free parking at Piazzale Don Franco Baroni. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the walls from there.) The breakfast buffet has ample and a variety of foods to select from. A truly great hotel to stay in and enjoy all that Lucca has to offer!! 」
