Seychelles 601 is a 6th floor Gulf-front luxury condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, plus a den. The master bedroom overlooks the Gulf of Mexico with amazing views of the beach and features a king-size bed and a private full bathroom with a large tub and walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a king bed and full bath attached and overlooks the Bay and has access to the balcony on the back side of the unit. An initial starter kit of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

The pictures for this property were amazing. We booked based on pictures and reviews. However, when we arrived the condo was not clean. The floors were sticky and dirty. We found cleaning items (mops/brooms) left out in one of the bedrooms, there was trash on the patio and one of the bedrooms that was not thrown away. We also found and e-cigarette lying on one of the beds. The condo was supposed to be smoke free. The furniture and appliances were old and the beds squeaked whenever you turned over. It needs to be updated. The worst part was that our refrigerator was not working. When we arrived on Sunday we turned the temperature to the coldest setting and went to dinner. When we returned the refrigerator was still not cool. We loaded our groceries in and assumed it need more time to cool. Monday morning we got up and everything in the refrigerator was warm. I contacted maintenance and they said they would get someone over to look at it. Come Tuesday no one had come. Finally, Tuesday late afternoon someone came over; however, he said he could not fix it and would have to call a appliance repair company. It took till Thursday afternoon before the refrigerator was fixed. I complained to the management company and asked for a refund due to the food we had to throw away. We had fish that we got deep sea fishing, milk, meat, etc. that had to be thrown away; however, the management company thanked me for my communication and did not offer any compensation. I am a diabetic and my medicine had to be kept cool, so we were forced to get a cooler and buy ice every day for that. Also, I informed them twice that the TV in the front bedroom was not working and they never sent anyone to check it out. Not only was the condo not acceptable, but the management company was totally unconcerned with the problems we encountered. I WOULD NOT RENT THIS CONDO AGAIN, NOR RENT ANY CONDO THAT THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY MANAGES.

We had an amazing week! We have stayed in this unit before and would definitely do so again! The property manager was great with her communication and the condo had everything we needed for a great stay. The views are stunning!

We have stayed at this property before, but never again. The main issue - the floors were filthy. The unit can sleep 7, but there would not be enough glasses for that many. There was plenty of silverware but it was so cheap we would use the take out cutlery when we ordered out. You had to fight the door trim to get the freezer drawer of the refrigerator open. The towels were good but the few washcloths were ratty. The drapes hung poorly and shower curtain didn't have enough hooks & was torn. The chairs at the table were about to fall through so we had to put pillows from the soft in them to be comfortable and one of chairs leg was about to come off so it could not be used at all. Normally I would just email the property to make the aware of things rather than give a negative review - but this was just too much.

This property has a great location and as a corner unit has great views of the Gulf. The unit is in a well maintained building with good amenities. Most of the units have aged. This unit has not been upgraded except for the TV and electronics which were great. On entry the garage code was incorrect which was solved. The living area had one light with one 60 watt bulb for the entire space. The kitchen was not clean nor updated with proper equipment. Pots and pans were unusable. Overall the property has potential but needs attention and updating.

Overall we enjoyed the property, the location was perfect and access to the beach was easy. the property was well furnished although, we did experience some minor issues. First off, the parking gate access number was incorrect. We were able to contact someone on the property to get the correct access code. There was only (7) wrist bands where there was supposed to be (8). Finally, on day two we discovered that the washing machine did not work. On day three, the maintenance man identified a bad control board on the washer, and parts had to be ordered. It was stated that the company had previously had problems with the washing machine. The washer was not repaired prior to our departure. for us, this was a minor issue as we were only traveling from Georgia, but someone that may have needed to catch a flight or travel a further distance, this could have been a major issue. I would only recommend this rental if the functionality of all appliances could be verified.
