Palazzo Liviano

I have been in a month long trip through Europe and this was the only accommodation I booked weeks ahead because a friend was joining me. All accommodations I booked on the spot had been great, but can’t say the same about this one. We arrived and were sent to another building, the room was small and dated, and the shower was tiny. If we were a little bigger we would not have fit. We asked for an iron and they say they did not have one. We brought good clothes to Venice to take pictures and we could not iron them. We asked for a second card because we were two guys, but they declined giving us the second card. On the day prior to checking out, we mistakenly left the card in the room and went to reception to ask them to open the door for us. The man in reception was rude and called us irresponsible. My friend thought he was asking us for identification and he told him your identification does not work in Venice. We stayed calmed and finally he relaxed and made us another card. Location is great close to the train station, but hotel is not worth the price.

Nice hotel in quiet area. Easily walkable to all parts of Venice. Comfortable room but small bathroom.

Our experience can only be translated in one multilingual word WOW This have been my 3 rd visit to Venezia myself and i have not experienced this type of service , quality and wow factor . The establishment , its history and location was only the beginning of our Wow factor. I can honestly say the entire staff brought it to a level that i never saw before and can only dream to receive in the future again .
