Beachfront beauty

Photos and description are accurate - Pacific city gets better every year - house was immaculate and beautiful, access to the beach does not get any better - thank you! I will be booking this house again. I didn’t bring my dog this time, but it’s pet friendly which is a bonus.

Great Location

Overall, very nice location and right on the beach. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the sand build up due to the winds. We were unable to use the hot tub, or the deck because it was covered in sand, drifting sand. Reminded me of snowdrifts, but only with sand. Could not see out the windows when we first got there because the sand had completely covered the windows. Got out the next morning and found a hose buried under about a foot of sand and rinsed the windows off. The sand came back, but it rained so hard it finally rinsed the windows off so we had a decent view at least for one day. Never actually seen such large drifts around houses before. But, the home itself was very nice inside. Clean and nice furniture. Wi-Fi worked well. Nice area, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Liked the area quite well.

Do Not Stay Here

We arrived to this place during one of the worst storms in years. There were 70mph winds blowing sand everywhere. Because of this, everyone staying here got covered in sand, and the doors / windows / house all got completely covered in the sand as well.We enjoyed our stay over the next couple days, and being able to walk right onto the beach was incredible.Unfortunately that’s about all the positive I can say.The company managing this property has since charged me hundreds of dollars to replace multiple items in the house because they claimed they were “destroyed”, despite there own photos and captions sent to me saying nothing more than sand was found on them. They also have blamed us for at least two things maintenance workers were responsible for, not us. (leaving a door open / not flushing a toilet).Additionally, the hot tub was never made useable during our stay, despite the company communicating with us each day that it would be. The home is beautiful and in a great location, but the management company is dishonest and will try to exploit you for as much money as they can. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Perfect Oregon Beach Getaway

Right on the waves

The house was in the perfect location to be able to sit in the hot tub and watch the ocean. Unfortunately, I had to call the property management company to get the lock code for the hot tub because it was not provided in the instructions. The house was clean and tidy, but could use updating.

Love the Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was there was no shade in the guest bedroom and I had to put a blanket over the window for privacy. Otherwise it was good.

This property was very nice and enjoyable to stay at especially the ocean views. We all enjoyed the hot tub as it was raining most of the time. But we had a great time.

Family Vacation

The property had everything we needed including a great location. We all had age appropriate activities for the youngest one at 10 yrs. old to the oldest at 79. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Whale watching!?!

Such an amazing view. We saw a pod of whales. Beautiful surprise. Great house. Fully stocked. Hot tub was a plus.

House and Pacific City is amazing

My family had a great spring break trip here. The house was well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. The views were incredible and we spent so much time outside. The only downfall here was the hot tub was out of order, the refrigerator was a bit dirty and there was no cleaning supplies for us to clean it and we think the master toilet was leaking. Regardless of the minor inconveniences, it was perfect! I would definitely come back here and already trying to plan my next trip.

Beach berm

The house was nice but small. There is a big sand dune right in front of the house which completely blocks your view of the ocean even though the house is beachfront! The windows were dirty and foggy, making it hard to see out. There were no wine glasses. Bummer. On vacation, wine glasses should be stocked in the house!

Don't rely on the photos

Location was good, view was beautiful. My grandsons enjoyed the sand hill but if your elderly or not wanting to slide down 10 foot sand hill you aren't making it to the water. The pictures or description DO NOT tell you that. Very limited supplies, Hot Tub worked good. No high chair like they stated never answered my email on where I could find it. Cleanliness surface area ok just don't move anything. Beds were ok after we rewashed bedding due to there being spots and sand on sheets spots turned out to be stains sand no clue. We have been renting vacation homes for 25 years or more and really never take the time to leave reviews good or bad, but this rental was a complete disappointment especially for the cost. I would not rent this house again not even for half the money I paid last time. Not sure I would rent anything from the management company either due to Cleanliness and the things stocked in house & the listing description isn't very accurate and pictures are very deceiving. All of those things are the property managers responsibility

Kiwanda Shores Retreat

Spring break family vacation at Serendipity by the Sea was a fantastic time. The house was exactly as described with the amazing sights and sounds of the ocean and view of Chief Kiwanda Rock. Each morning was a coffee and and a long leisurely walk on the beach with local Oregon wines in the evening watching the sunset, fishing boats and reflecting on the day. The garage is action packed with beach toys which both my boys played with constantly throughout our trip. The kitchen is well stocked with anything and everything you would need to make a family / group meals with the exception of some disposable packaging like foil, cling wrap or ziplock bags. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, were not ready to return home, and would definitely rent here again.

Amazing, amazing, amazing

We came here to attend our sons elopement. Other groups members had houses a few doors down. Beach access is amazing and the views stellar!! There is a large sandy beach right outside the door and then out a ways a dune down to the water. I am not in great shape but I was able to go up and down no problem. My grandson played outside to his hearts content. The house was great for the whole family. The kitchen was fully stocked and there is a grill for bbqing. We had an amazing time and I am ready to book again. I also texted back and forth with the property manager regarding dogs visiting and items for the house before we got here and they were super responsive and helpful!!!
