「Absolutely a fantastic place. A bit off the beaten path, but dead center of the best of Stellenbosch wine country. Great service. Only 10 suites in the main building, so very quiet and relaxing. The spa is beautiful. The food is fantastic and healthy. Yes, it can be both. Great attention to detail. We will be back.」

「Rooms was clean and comfortable. Was close to the restaurant and swimming pool. Was very quiet and peaceful. Nice for strolling around the grounds. We enjoyed the venue. Had a nice breakfast at the restaurant next to the pool and a great lunch in the restaurant at the hotel.」

「A beautiful property that is a farm, vineyard and orchard. Everything we ate was delicious and the Carnivore dinner at the Old Bakery is a must. Do as many activities, that are included with your stay. Ask about their sister property that is a 18th century farm as well as the mountain pool. The farm/garden tour were very informative and the water buffalo outing is a must. 」

「We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet. Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good.」

「Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!」
