Nicely renovated and professionally decorated, this upscale beach cottage is the perfect vacation spot. The master bedroom’s stunning ocean views will start your day off beautifully. Enjoy the uncrowded beaches and walk for miles combing the beach for sea glass and shells.

4 bedrooms and 3 baths, furnished with all the modern comforts of a relaxed beach lifestyle while state-of -the-art amenities including a fully-stocked gourmet kitchen with stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, 6 burner gas Viking range and oven leave no detail unthought-of.

The two car garage houses beach toys, boogie boards, four bikes, beach chairs, and a canopy tent all available for our guests. A full sized washer and dryer is available to keep all your beach towels fresh for the next day’s fun!

Located in a friendly neighborhood with numerous attractions just steps away. Mrs. Olson’s Coffee Hut, a local breakfast favorite is a great way to start your day. Less than two miles away, the Seabridge center, has upscale restaurants, shopping, entertainment and coffee shops.

Take a stroll around The Channel Island Marina or enjoy the nearby and convenient bicycle paths. The farmers market takes place every Sunday from 10am to 2pm. You will find organic in-season vegetables, homemade tamales, shaved ice, music & more…..

Not to be missed is the very large community park with a wonderful pirate themed park for the kids just a few blocks from the house. This huge play center is sure to keep the kids begging to go back daily!

Location: Conveniently located near Ventura, Santa Barbara and Ojai, off the 101 freeway. We are 55 miles north of LA, about 35 minutes south of Santa Barbara, just 10 minutes from downtown Ventura and 10 minutes from all the great shopping at The Collection in Oxnard. Visit Oxnard or Ventura for a wide selection of dining-you won't be disappointed with the great variety of restaurants.

More than we bargained for

The property and grounds were clean and well kempt. We found the home well suited for 10 total guests of 6 adults and 4 children. The kids room had an adorable nook for our youngest, a rollout trundle bed and two twin beds. Additionally, the kids room had its own bathroom, which was great. There are two other bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs.I'd like to highlight that this property had a ton of nice to haves. There were an abundance of beach toys, games (cornhole, plastic axe throwing, spikeball, badminton, volleyball), bikes for the family and maybe 8 beach chairs. The kitchen was completely stocked with cookware and utensils. For indoor entertainment the hosts had directTV, a dvd player with dvds, streaming services, board games for adults and kids, puzzles and a playstation 3 with games.I would highly recommend this home. My family had such a wonderful time together. The location is perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

Perfect Quiet Beach Retreat

This place was adorable and a perfect beach getaway. The house building itself is older but the owners did a wonderful job renovating it inside. There are four spacious bedrooms, three of them with large beds and the fourth perfect for kids with two twins plus an adorable loft bed. Plenty of bathrooms too. The house is right on the beach, which was nice and quiet with very few people (we stayed in December so maybe it's busier in the summer). The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware and cookware, along with very nice Viking appliances. There is plenty of parking for cars (we had three). Lots of activity items are stored in the garage (bikes, sand toys, a new ping pong table, etc.). Overall this is a wonderful place to bring your family or to stay at with a few friends.

Anniversary

We have been lucky to have rented this home for 4 times now. We go for our anniversary. We love the home and the area. The house is clean and everything we need is supplied. There are plenty of towels, kitchenware, kitchen appliances and beach toys. My only criticism is the couch. The couch is too small a bigger couch or sectional would be great. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Home in Paradise

This two story home was what a beach house should be. Loved the homey feeling. Not over decorated. Every room was updated. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was nice having one bedroom downstairs. The views were amazing from every room.

Great Location! Poor Quality and Description

The house is beautiful but poorly maintained. The couch and rug in the living room are dirty. We rented when it was cold and specifically looked for a property with a fireplace which was not working when we arrived. We called the property manager and were told that the remote had to be re-ordered and paired but wouldn't be done for our weekend. They knew before and we were not notified. The oven temperature knob on the oven was broken so we couldn't calibrate the temperature. The cupboard doors were falling off in the kitchen and rusty. All fans were filthy we cleaned them. If you want to sit on the beach do not rely on their beach chairs they are rusty and I believe meant for kids not adults. Overall a very well stocked kitchen and nice house but definitely needs some love.

Great location, but some problems

The location can't be beat, right on the oceanfront. You can watch surfers and dolphins right from the house and deck. This is one of the older, quaint beach cottages that are left, most of the original houses have been torn down for large monstrosities. There were some real problems though: for one they advertise four bicycles. We were really counting on daily bike riding as that is our main source of exercise at our home. In the garage were two adult size bikes and one child's bike. The bikes had completely flat tires, broken brakes and the tire pump does not work. So the bikes are not operable. That was really disappointing. Second: ants, they even tell you in the guidebook there will be ants and deal with it. Ants in the kitchen, ants in the pantry, ants in the shower etc.. We bought ant traps and put them around. There was no laundry detergent so we had to get that as well. Some of the kitchen equipment was dirty like pots, pans, etc. The master king size bed is super soft, if you like a firm mattress it is not good. The couch in living room really uncomfortable. The Viking range in the kitchen; the knob for the oven fell off every time we tried to use and it was difficult to get the oven temperature to the proper degrees. Previous renters left all this garbage strewn on the side of the garage, I told the manager and he said they would come clean it up, they never did. So there were some issues, but overall the house is really cute and in the great location. I just wish they would fix these problems I have mentioned.

Beautiful beach house..

This was our third time staying at the beautiful beach house. The house has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We enjoy cooking meals here and looking out at the amazing view of the ocean. We saw dolphins every day we were there. You are literally on the beach. Lots of beach toys to enjoy too. Very clean and quiet. A new couch might be needed in the near future. Would highly recommend this rental. Management Company is easy to work with too. I will definitely rent again.

Perfect little house on the beach

This was one of two rentals that we rented for my father's memorial. We chose the house on the beach as my sister loved the ocean. Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly before she arrived. I know she would have loved this house. The house was clean, well-stocked (and yes I've gone and brought dishes if the ones supplied by the house were too gross). The view from two of the bedrooms was oceanfront and of course, you exited right onto the beach. It really was as pictured. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to a friend. The only issue we had was that the code to check in was not emailed to us and we had people waiting at the house who could not enter. VRBO was quick to respond and help us get in touch with the managing company. Then the first code given was wrong. But outside of that little hiccup, it was a fantastic stay. It made a difficult time more bearable.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We planned for a 1-week stay and our only regret was that we didn’t book additional nights. Situated on a quiet street, the house is very well appointed, with everything you may need for a relaxing time. The communication from the rental company was very easy, and we experienced zero issues. Our group of 8 kept busy on the sand, riding bikes, reading, cooking and walking the beach. The Channel Islands harbor offers boat rentals so we were able to spend a nice evening on a boat around the harbor. This is one of the best rentals we have ever had and we are definitely coming back!

Amazing house and location. The beds are FANTASTICALLY comfortable. Very well equipped also!

We loved this house. It was very clean and very quiet. It also came furnished with all the accessories and toys needed to enjoy the beach as well as doing laundry. If we are ever back in CA this will be our first choice.

Most relaxing and welcoming home!!

Everything you will ever need for your stay is already there, so no need for over-packing. Great Family Vacation! Beautiful Property!

The property was perfect. It was clean, well kept and all of the necessities were provided. Clean bed sheets and beach towels. The garage was filled with all of the beach toys and boogie boards needed to entertain the kids. Restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. Beach was private and very clean. We had a very memorable trip and look forward to renting the bungalow again in the future.

Great little beach bungalow

We love coming here. Although everything was a bit more worn/used since our stay a year ago, it was still clean and suited our family well for the month. It is well equipped which is excellent for us as we travel with two little ones from Canada so try to minimize how much we have to bring with. The garage space with the ping pong table and open area came in handy with the rainy weather we had too. We are already planning our stay for next year here Again :) And as with our prior experience, the folks at TREE management were super helpful and friendly.

Beautiful, clean, and well-appointed cottage-style house on the sand at the Pacific Ocean.

The house is beautifully located on the beach with large windows and balconies affording incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands from inside and outside the house. The sand outside the house is clean and wonderful for walking and beach combing, It is not a crowded beach because access is through private property. The house has been recently and tastefully refurbished. The kitchen is modern with Viking appliances. Other features of the house such as sound system are upscale. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and nicely decorated. The owners have been very thoughtful in furnishing and stocking the house for guests, including provided many books (good books for almost any reading taste), toys and games and art supplies for children/families, and all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and small appliances one could need for preparing and enjoying meals. We were not able to use the fireplace during our visit because the remote control needed to be replaced. The owners indicated it was on order and would be replaced soon, so this is not a long-term problem. The owners immediately returned our phone call when we call to inquire because we couldn't find the remote, so that was very nice. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the house. It is perfect for anyone who wants to stay on the ocean.
